Jerusa was such an attentive and smiling staff member, that she made our night! The food we ordered was lovely, cooked to perfection. And we couldn’t have enough of the bottomless frites! Everything was great, highly recommend this restaurant.

Last time we dined here was a few years ago as we love French food, we was very impressed with food and service, this time around though it was a slightly different experience, like last time the service staff were brilliant, no complaints there, how ever although my food and the wife’s starter was really good, my wife’s main, a tart tatin which should have been hot was cold, she questioned if that’s how it should be and as she thought it should be hot, so it was taken back, she decided not to have another and was given a free desert as well as not being charged for the main in compensation. These things happen and it’s how it’s dealt with is a big factor, we where happy with that side of things, my meal, French onion soup and Pork Belly for main was lovely.

We visited for breakfast and unfortunately it was a bit of a mixed experience. The restaurant was about half full when we arrived, yet it took around 45 minutes for our food to arrive. It was getting busier as we waited, but I feel that’s still quite a long time to wait for breakfast.

I ordered the Cote Breakfast, which looked great on paper but ended up being rather underwhelming. At £14, I expected a bit more in terms of portion size. The bacon was very sparse, the beans, while tasty came in such a tiny ramekin that they were gone in a single mouthful, and the whole plate was lukewarm. The same went for the rest of my party’s meals. My toast was oddly stale, which was disappointing. The sausage was missing from my plate initially, but to their credit it was brought out quickly when I mentioned it. I appreciated that they happily swapped mushrooms for avocado.

The highlight was the coffee, absolutely excellent. Our waiter, I believe his name was Cameron or Callum, was also fantastic, friendly, attentive, and he apologised for the delay without being prompted. Shout out to him

Overall, great service and coffee, but the food and value didn’t quite live up to expectations.

I have breakfast at Cote Horsham this Sunday morning. The restaurant was almost full by 10:30am. Although I had no reservation of seat, Anouchka who spoke fluent French welcomed me warmly. From her lovely smile, everyone knows that she likes her job. Andrew explained to me the breakfast set options I might enjoy. I ordered smoked salmon with scrambled egg which was tasty and not overcooked. Andrew managed to order a cup of Mocha for me even though it was not on the menu. I love the vibe of this restaurant on Sunday morning. I shall definitely come again.

We visited the Coté Brasserie in Horsham yesterday (8.1.26) on the occasion of my husband’s birthday. Our previous visit to Coté last year had been a little disappointing, but yesterday’s visit was perfect. We began our meal with a Calamari and French bread starter, which we shared. Next, my husband opted for the seasonal dish of Smoked Bacon Tarteflette, with a side dish of spinach and pinenuts instead of salad, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I chose the half roast chicken, with wild mushroom sauce and fries. The chicken was so succulent, it was sublime, just falling off the bone with tenderness and thoroughly cooked to perfection. The fries were very good too. All of the food was piping hot and served in a timely fashion. We had started with a Coté Royale drink each, which were served in lovely vintage style champagne glasses. We then each had a large glass of wine, rosé for me and Sauvignon Blanc for my husband. Both wines were tasty and nicely chilled. My husband was too full for a dessert, but I managed to squeeze in a Pistachio Crème Brulee and I have to say it was the best Crème Brulee I have ever tasted in my life and that includes from restaurants in the south of France. Throughout our meal, we were served by Callum, for whom nothing was too much trouble, even arranging a box for us to take home a little bit of chicken for our cat. We will certainly be returning to Coté in the future and this visit more than made up for the slightly disappointing one last year. Bien joué Coté!

Had a family meal for 7 for a birthday
We all used to love cote and haven’t been for a while and wished we hadn’t! Waited for drinks for about 20 minutes
Starters were average and for mains what a surprise an undercooked burger pretty much mooing, taken away and replaced with another burger which was burnt on outside and raw inside, two half chickens that was dryer than the desert and got stuck in the throat worrying that someone would need to preform the Heimlich
steak baguette that looked and tasted horrendous and sirloin steak that looked like it had gone 2 rounds with a boxer and lost!! Drinks got forgotten
On the plus side the manager tried to accommodate and was very apologetic as 4 meals weren’t eaten and the manager had them removed from bill and a nice surprise desert for birthday girl and our waiter was a lovely man
What has happened to cote Horsham such a shame

Absolutely superb! Food was gorgeous and our server (Alyssa) was so lovely. Callum also served us our favourite French 75 cocktail even though it was on the menu…. Above and beyond. It’s why we love it here.
