One of our favorite restaurants to go out to. A great Friday night vibe, busy but very easy to talk and laugh. Appetizers and food were so good. Elizabeth, our amazing server, brought out different mole options to try, and then recommended the pork special and it was fall off the bone amazing. The drinks are always well balanced and hit the spot.

We went on Saturday night – the guacamole is out of this world. However – couldn’t eat dinner we were so full. We were given an explanation of all the moles available and samples. All were thoroughly wonderful and very interesting. We returned on Sunday for the fajitas molectja. Highly recommended – very different presentation than regular fajitas but exceptional. We could not eat dessert but the churro cart with different dips looked amazing.

I can’t stress enough the awesome service we received by our waitress Elizabeth! So sweet, so attentive. She had us eating more than we thought we would. All the recommendations were phenomenal, she even brought out the 5 mole tryouts. Honestly, we’ve been here before and the food has always been good, today was a special day, not because we were celebrating anything but the way Elizabeth greeted us, made us feel at home and welcomed and it felt like siting at a family reunion with awesome food. Elizabeth if you’re reading this, we loved your service and beautiful heart. May God bless you in all you do!

Wow. One of the best burritos of my life – GREAT for a hangover. Tableside guac was really good and chips were crispy with the perfect amount of salt. The real standout though was our server. I asked her name, but unfortunately forgot before I could leave this review – I’m about 90% sure it was Maria. She was extremely friendly and polite, ready to assist us with whatever we needed, and paid us some very nice compliments. Next time I’m in Arlington Heights I WILL be back.

The vibes here was amazing! Got the mago salad with grilled chicken! Very flavorful and well seasoned. The fajita steak was also flavorful and melted in my mouth. Definitely worth it for the experience . The waiter was also nice and helped us pick between the dishes when we asked questions. Very knowledgeable. Will be back again for sure

I visited the restaurant based on the positive reviews and was looking forward to the food. I ordered the shrimp dish and the veggie fajitas, but unfortunately, shrimp dish were overwhelmingly salty—almost as if they were cooked with just salt and nothing else.
It was late and the kids were hungry, so I decided not to send the food back. I’m sure the staff would have replaced the dishes if I had asked, but that would have meant waiting even longer at the restaurant, which just wasn’t practical at the time.
So Thought to share the veggies fajitas with my wife.
Disappointed, especially given the good feedback I had seen before coming.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Magos celebrating my birthday, and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We rented out the entire space, and from start to finish everything exceeded expectations.
The food was outstanding—beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and consistently excellent across every course. The atmosphere was warm, vibrant, and perfect for a celebration, creating an unforgettable setting for our guests.
What truly made the night exceptional, however, was the staff. Maria Elena and Lorenzo were beyond incredible—attentive, professional, warm, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail was perfect. Their service elevated the entire evening. A huge thank you as well to Sergio, the General Manager, whose leadership and coordination were evident throughout the night. Everything ran seamlessly.

Really good food, excellent service. Margaritas were delicious! Guacamole is fresh and prepared table side. Chicken and steam fajitas were amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly. My wife and I ordered the guacamole. It was a lot for two people so we split the fajitas. Perfect for two people!
