Great service and delicious food; what more can you ask for? We went here for my birthday dinner and absolutely loved everything we ordered, especially the havarti shrimp scampi, scallops, caesar salads, and the key lime cheesecake. Thank you for making my birthday even more special by being so kind and welcoming, Harley(sp?)! We will definitely be back thanks to our awesome server and the chefs fantastic service!!

Went on a Saturday night it wasn’t really busy.
I ordered a margarita. It was okay pretty strong on the alcohol. Im more of a sweet drink fan. So yes it was good but i like mine differently.
Family ordered the onion rings and calamari. SO BLAND. It needs seasonings or salt. The batter itself was nice and crispy but flavorless. Also ours didnt come with any sauce. I saw others came with sauce. Unsure if it was an accident or not or extra to get sauce but it needed something.
I ordered the steak with a topper.
The topper itself was flavorful. I could of just ate that. However the steakwas chewy and so bland it was cooked well. Seems like no seasoning went on the steak.the gravy on the side was tasty, uhm but im not a gravy on steak person. The side of mash potatos..bland.
Ceasars salad was good. Bread was soft .
Ordered the Alfredo for my kids. WoAH portion size is huge. Kids menu seems to be worth the price.
My dad ordered the pasta with beef and Bleu cheese ( I don’t remember the name). I tried a bite as I can’t eat pasta really. It was delicious well seasoned. However after a few bites it became overpowering in the flavor ( per dad’s review).
Overall.. Just bland for the amount they charge it should he some of the best steak ever. Service was okay, i liked the view but I dont think this is a place I would return back to.

I just had one of the best meals of my life here at Charlie’s On The Lake. I only got pictures of what I had and what I drank, but everyone enjoyed their food. The waitress was very kind and attentive. I got the lunch Scallops Alfredo. This was my first time trying scallops; I now am obsessed! The sauce was amazing, the pasta was good, and the scallops were absolutely delicious. I got a Salted Caramel Martini from their seasonal drink menu. I had to have gotten three to four total drinks from the shaker alone. Their fresh baked bread was the cherry on top. This is absolutely now my go-to restaurant! (For reference, I took a picture of the Alfredo after I had eaten a fair amount of scallops out of it!)

We went to Charlie’s on a Saturday afternoon. It was quiet and we sat in the bar. We shared appetizers and enjoyed martinis. It was one of my favorite lemon drop martinis, and the bull wings will always be my favorite item. We will be back the next time my friend is in town, this place is ALWAYS a go to!

Steve Grosz and his team have hosted my company dinners for the last 2 years now, and this evening was another great experience. They handled my party of 40+ employees with class and professionalism.
We had the garlic crusted Parmesan chicken and Teriyaki salmon, both over pilaf for our entrees, Prime Rib buffet for the “main course”, and some really awesome “cupcake” cheese cakes for desert. Everything was excellent!
From seating to paying the tab, I can’t say enough good things about the hard-working team at Charlie’s on the Lake. Looking forward to many more company events here!

This was a three top lunchtime visit to Charlie’s on the Lake.
There were only two or three other occupied tables in the entire restaurant, so it was not busy at all.
We ordered the edamame as an appetizer, and for our mains, fish and chips, seafood enchiladas, and the filet, cooked medium.
The edamame was steamed to perfection and delicious. One of our party, however, did notice that our entrées sat for about five minutes before our server was seen running to get them to us, so for that reason, we dropped a star.
The filet was done to a beautiful medium rare and served with steak fries. The fish and chips were golden and not dry, but the tartar sauce was lacking a flavor profile.
We suggest adding some roasted red pepper and basil and lemon juice with a little onion and cornichons for texture.
The seafood enchiladas were very rich and topped with a copious amount of cheese.
They were good, but the oregano inside overwhelmed what seafood flavor there was and was the dominant flavor aside from the cheese.
Overall, a good experience. We’ll come back again.

Charlie’s on the lake is amazing! The Mother’s Day brunch buffet was wonderful. The buffet had a nice variety of food. It was fresh and hot. The customer service was out of this world. Our waitress was so attentive and friendly. You really enjoyed Charlie’s on the lake and we will definitely be returning.

That’s it, I’m done with this place. If you’re going to advertise that you’re open till 9 pm, STAY OPEN TILL 9 PM. A month ago, we got there at 7:45 & were TOTALLY guilted into leaving because they were closing at 8 pm, because it was ‘slow’. So we left, hungry & thirsty. I figured I’d give them another try. We both work till 7, so we got there around 7:20 this time & again, were told, before our butts even hit the chairs, that they’re closing at 8 again, because they were ‘slow’. I said to my wife, I don’t care this time, we’re eating & having a drink. The closing time was reiterated a couple more times. We ordered 2 appetizers & 2 martinis. We ate as fast as we could, because the ‘hustle’ the bartender had going on was VERY uncomfortable, to be able to enjoy our meals. Then around 7:50-ish, I asked for 1 more drink, so I could finish off my meal. I was told that she had already ‘closed out the bar’. How about a ‘last call’ or, “is there anything else I can get you before I close everything down”? NOTHING. And after dropping almost $94 for what we had, I’d expect a little better. This place used to be great & we’d have large group things there at least once a month. Now, it’s a ghost town. And with an atmosphere like what we’ve experienced the last 2 times there, I understand why. It’s a damn shame, it used to be the ‘go to’ place for happy hour drinks & appetizers. Now, unless you’re there at happy hour, for get about it.
