The brisket was good not the best I’ve had but not bad. The pulled pork was also pretty good. The pulled chicken was also pretty good, it wasn’t as dry as most places. I felt like the sides portions were kinda small. The baked beans were average and the Mac and cheese wasn’t anything special. I put some baked beans and pulled pork on top of the mac and cheese and it was pretty good. They should add a loaded mac and cheese to the menu. The sauces are decent but mixing them together made a really good sauce with just enough heat for me. All things considered I thought it was a pretty good dinner and I’d definitely eat here again.

We went on a Monday evening and were surprised at how busy it was. Great dirty martini, great wine prices, and the bone-in wings were delicious.
But the “Shrimp Platter” $13.40… What were they thinking?! The shrimp were tiny — so tiny that the little cocktail sauce container was bigger than the entire order. This wasn’t a platter; it was a small side-dish bowl of microscopic shrimp. After the waitress and my friends saw them, they all felt sorry for me. What a HUGE disappointment. (check out the photo)
Unless they upgrade the portion and the shrimp size and actually make it into a platter with garnishment and garlic bread, PLEASE skip the Shrimp Platter unless you’re on a strict starvation diet and don’t mind doing most of the chewing with your imagination.

Wonderful food. The catfish just called. Oh it was worth it. Atmosphere laid back and relaxed, welcoming. Looking forward to visiting more often and trying the whole menu! Whiskey selection is wonderful as well. It is 19 years married, 20 years of ups and downs, and we enjoyed ending the evening here. Cheers

Nice place, the food was good as well. 3 of us visited this place, and we all liked our meals. The only problem I had was witnessing the 2 servers in the back eating food, not washing their hands, and then bringing food out to the customers. With that said, I probably won’t go back.

Having lived in Texas many years, I was a bit disappointed with the brisket plate. It was dry and cut too thick. It was as thick as a steak. Loved my salad with French dressing and my fries. Not many places carry this dressing anymore so great surprise there. Nice atmosphere and busy waitress was very personable.

Great little place to stop and grab some food during the day. I can’t speak for the bar side but my visit was at the bar so that I could order food to go and it was friendly and fast.
The food was delicious.
The nachos were served on chips which may or may not have been made there I didn’t clarify but the presentation for it to go order was pretty nice.

Not many choices in Kingston but glad I found it. Good atmosphere and bartender was nice and attentive. Brisket was tender but lacked any flavor to be honest. I don’t sauce my brisket but had to for this. Plenty of meat though! Sides on point so overall not bad. Please use more dry rub and maybe smoke longer to get some type of smoky flavor. Finished meal with minimal fat so good dinner for sure and prices very fair.
