Original: We decided to try this place based on the great reviews, and it did not disappoint! In our party of 6, everyone loved their food! The pasta entrees come with bread and soup or salad. The bread itself was delicious. The top is coated with a delicious olive oil and parmesan cheese. I had the pasta fagioli soup, which had so much flavor. The sauce on the lasagna was so good. My son got the Amore baked trio pasta, which was 1/2 a lasagna, baked ziti, and 2 ravioli. After his meal, he declared this is his favorite restaurant in Orlando, and he’s been looking for 2.5 years since we moved here.
My father-in-law said their pizza is the best he has had in Florida (they moved from Chicago 3 years ago). My daughter’s chicken cutlet sandwich was beautiful and she liked it so much she finished the entire thing! Even my husband said his calzone was one of the best he’s had.
The wait staff were very friendly and our food came out quickly. The one small suggestion I would make to the restaurant would be to invest in more comfortable chairs. We sat at the high-top table, which had comfortable chairs, but the rest of the tables had the chairs every Orlando restaurant seems to have with the rounded metal bar along the back edge and a thin vertical metal bar down the middle back. These are not comfortable to sit in and nicer chairs would make the dine-in experience match the high level of quality of the food and service.
We will definitely be back again soon to try more of the menu. Check this place out if you are looking for some amazing Italian food!
I had the vodka pasta (minus the mushrooms), and it was absolutely delicious — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My husband had the chicken Marsala, and he was raving about how wonderful it was. Our daughter had the cheese pizza, and it was hands-down one of the best we’ve had — this will definitely be our new go-to spot for pizza night! We ended our meal with zeppoles, and they were the perfect sweet finish — light, warm, and absolutely amazing.
If you haven’t checked this place out yet, do yourself a favor and go — you won’t regret it!
The only negatives were moderately high prices ($18 for spaghetti and meatballs, $6 for a Peroni) and a 3% credit card surcharge. Meh.
Otherwise, everyone there was awesome and we can’t wait to come back and try some other authentic Italian fare!
A lil taste of Italy right here in Orlando. My personal favorite, the fried calimari which was tender and perfectly breaded and fried to perfection and the super tender chicken cutlet parmisian. Will definitely be returning to Amore,s.
My nieces went for the cheese pizza and didn’t leave a single slice behind. All on point. Props to the owner for creating a spot that feels like home with food that hits. We’ll be back!
