In particular, sonic has went downhill as a whole. But this location is always messy. It’s in a Walmart parking lot. Trash is going to happen. Yada yada. We can all get over that. Staff is usually very friendly, but the food is seldom up to par. Nearly 8$ for this order of chili cheese fries and it’s well unserporrtioned for what it is even supposed to be. And this is the normal here. If it’s not an item like mozzarella sticks that are literally counted, expect this quality/quantity! Wish the food matched the service.

We have been there twice now and their ice cream machine has been “down” or cleaned HOURS before they close. Furthermore, all lights are turned off making it look closed. We ended up getting food one night, burgers weren’t bad, but the tater tots were over cooked and like chips.

Me and my friend decided go to sonic and as someone who work in customer service and deals with a lot there I was kind of disappointed with how I was treated there. We had got there and my friend had placed an online order so we went and pulled up to a stall and I was going to order some drink as well so I was looking and finally found what I want. So I press the button they said those were close which is fine so they tell us to go to the drive through. So I do and I ask for a coffee and they said they had no coffee so I was like shoot ok let me look and I decided go get a red bull recharger dragon fruit. And I was about to say I had an online when I was rudely cut off with the guy takin my order sayin OH MY GOD in a snobby attitude. And I was literally like uhm ok so I say we had an online and that I needed one more drink. So I order it and the speakers are a little hard to hear and I feel bad making them repeat what they say and he just aggressively says go to the front window and I said im sorry what did you say and he sighs and say GO TO THE FRONT WINDOW. So I did and then he got instant karma by accidentally hitting one of our drinks on the window and busting the cup. Safe to say I laughed and was very pleased with that. Anyways I normally don’t leave reviews but this one was definitely my worst one yet. I would definitely understand if we came right before they close cause honestly same but we came at 7:40. With much love and no hate to the worker at all ik times are rough but next time you can mute yourself and do it people are crazy and never know what they can do plz stay safe

We stopped in for a late night cheeseburger! It did not disappoint! Hot, juicy and delicious The onion rings definitely hit the spot!!

A foot long chilli hot dog, chilli cheese tater tots, a cheesecake shake & a chocolate shake –> all ordered & tried ( no I didn’t eat all this ,silly ) But I tried it to check it all out. I like the way you can watch the screen to know exactly what’s going on with your order, then it tells you your server is on there way.

The service was fantastic, the prices – no so bad, the food is delicious, my only criticism is the ‘fake’ whipped non dairy topping under that lovely cherry. –> my advise – switch to real whipped cream folks – it would really be a way better topper to your delicious shakes & if competitors can use it so can you. All in all a great choice of places to eat. My son quite enjoyed his footlong chilli dog & cheesecake shake. I’ll be back ( after we’d ordered I saw a sign for a blue coconut slushy – serious yum factor – so I’ll go back )

Do not get the dill pickle tots. They are digusting and you will throw them out after the trying two just to be sure. Then chug your drink and finish it faster than you’d like just to get the taste out of your mouth.

My three year old asked for a slushy. I didn’t want to unload two kids into a gas station for a slushy. So we went to Sonic. Where we waited. And waited. For half an hour. For two drinks only. I went up to the front door where they bring out the food and the gentleman was very nice, brought it right out. Offered me free drinks, i was gonna let it go. But then driving home by daughter coughed into her hand after taking a big drink and said “mommy a rock in my drink”. I’ve never pulled over faster in my life than to find out my daughter was not messing around, and I watched her pull this pea gravel rock out of her mouth. So enraged.

During my unpleasant experience at the Normal Illinois Sonic, I witnessed 4 employees sitting around outside with friends for at least 30 minutes. I also witnessed the same server running food and drinks to cars, doing her job well. Good job 1 employee. Others, stop flirting with boys in your free time and start doing your job that you are payed to do. Have a great night, bless.

Took 45 minutes to get our mobile order all because they were too lazy to go outside. Once when went in the drive through they made us go through it twice (drive through took 20 minutes btw) and proceeded to get it wrong
