Reserved for lunch at noon on a Sunday. Practically first ones in. The restaurant was filled by 1-1:30pm.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.
All the food ordered was delicious.
Onion soup definitely is a must and the razor clams and cod was a nice change from beef and chicken.
The boeuf bourguignon was a tad on the salty end due to how long it needs to be cooked and reduced.
It was absolutely tender and delicious otherwise.

My husband and I made a reservation to Chez Fernand Christine. It was run very well, the manager checked our names off the list, and although the seating is tight, as it is a small restaurant, it was very inviting and beautiful. The food was excellent and flavorful. The server was attentive. It was a bit pricey, but the experience and food were very enjoyable.

Came here specifically for the Boeuf Bourguignon. We were immediately captivated by the rustic old school charm of the restaurant.
The clams came in generous portion and the bone marrow was sinfully good. Oh, the pork chop is so appetizingly Rosy. It tasted as good as it look, so tender.
Now for our most anticipated dish… Boeuf Bourguignon. It exceeded our expectation. The sauce was luxuriously rich n glossy. The beef tear apart with little effort! Absolutely tender! (What every beef lover look for). Dessert was wonderful too, a great way to end a totally satisfying meal.
There’s only one drawback… the sitting was too cramp. The waitress gotta literally pull out the table for one dinner to be seated, push back the table in for the next dinner to be seated. Any restroom breaks will be cumbersome. Also all the table movements are distracting for a perfect dinning experience.
Slight claustrophobic feel aside, the staffs are friendly n helpful. Above that, the Boeuf Bourguignon here is truly a must try! Highly recommended!

The Boeuf Bourguignon was quite good — the meat was tender and full of flavor. The table service was also fast and friendly, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the fillet was very tough and chewy, and the crème brûlée felt rather underwhelming and lacked depth of flavor. Overall, the experience was average and didn’t quite meet expectations.
I can’t help but feel that those who rate this place as outstanding may not have experienced restaurants where the food truly stands out.

A perfect end to our stay in Paris! It’s exactly what I wanted in a meal out of Paris. The Beef bourguignon was incredible! So tender and delicious. My wife’s pork chop was so juicy and tender. I’ve only had pork so tender once before and this was just as good, if not better. The creme brulee was so smooth and a perfect end to the meal. The wine suggestion was also paired well. We highly recommend and I wish we had one more night because I’d go back for seconds! Thank you for an amazing experience! Best meal I had in Paris of my 4 day stay.

Very pleasant restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent, everyone was genuinely kind and attentive throughout our meal. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. We had the lunch menu (fish and ravioli) as well as the bone marrow and the beef bourguignon, and everything was absolutely delicious. A great spot for anyone looking to enjoy excellent French cuisine. Highly recommended!

We had dinner here on our second evening in Paris. We shared the warm Camembert with honey and walnuts to start which was delicious, we both had the house special Beef Bourgogne also delicious. The food, drinks, wine and entire staff were just a delight. We highly recommend having dinner here and be sure to make a reservation, we did in early August for late September.
Bon Appetit Joel

Chez Fernand Christine serves hearty, well-balanced French classics. The French onion soup hits the right mix of onion and cheese, the bone marrow is rich and deeply flavoured, and the escargot marinade is excellent. Their signature beef stew is intensely flavourful and perfect for soaking bread. Portions can be inconsistent—our server noticed only one chunk of meat in our serving and promptly topped it up so it felt complete. For two people, three starters plus one main was plenty. Reservations are advisable. The dining room is very small, with tables close enough to touch elbows, so it’s cosy rather than romantic—probably not ideal for a first date.

The food was delicious. The French onion soup was the best we had all trip. And the restaurant is located in a fun area (Saint-Germain). I recommend trying it if you want some typical Parisian food but in a restaurant that is definitely a step or two above the run-of-the-mill tourist trap brasserie. Just note: there are multiple Chez Fernands so make sure you go to the right location!
