I was looking for a local dinner option and found a really good option! Beautiful day and luckily they have outside seating even though inside looked nice. Good menu options for all and the shrimp tacos was on point! Service was really good while it was busy and didn’t take long at all. Plus it was really good prices!

Hank’s was my absolute favorite place to dine! Recently had a bad experience. Celebrating our anniversary 8/26/25. Ordered the hobo special as I always do , ordered well done. Ate half at the restaurant and took the rest home for leftovers. As I began eating my leftovers and got towards the middle of the hamburger patty it was pink. I took photos , called the restaurant the next day and the manager said since I did not have the meat still there was nothing she could do as it was their policy. I informed her I had photos and she still offered nothing not even an apology initially. Never had an unpleasant experience until
Now. The customer service experience was dissatisfying and handled poorly. I hope any customer concerns are handled better in the future. I don’t see myself dining there again considering the response from management.

Was highly recommended by locals to try this place out, and we were not disappointed! I got the reuben with mashed potatoes. My wife got the fish tacos and we split a side of hand dipped mushrooms. Everything was fantastic. Highly recommended!!

Haley was our waitress, she was just so amazing. She is so kind and cheerful, and she truly radiates joy. She made my day better instantly! Then the food somehow made it even better! I had an espresso martini, which was absolutely amazing, and the chicken enchiladas. The chicken was a tad dry but the sauce really did make up for it! Plus the chicken was seasoned very well and tasted great! My partner got a burger and he really enjoyed it, I actually blinked and it was gone. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the area!

Cutesy place but not rlly worth it. Terrible options for appetizers and only a few options. Idk if I are food was half cooked bc it was so busy but fries were cold cold soggy, burger hardly cooked, and then salad doesn’t come in bowl u can’t mix it up and bottom bun was soggy drenched in grease. Also waiters were weird they kept taking are food and not even asking if we were finished. Cute place, reasonable pricing, but like I said not worth it.

Hank’s Tavern is where it is AT in Muskegon. The food was amazing, fresh and hot. The server (Jessica) kept our drinks topped off and was very understanding of our Gluten Allergies. The GF bun was THE best I’ve ever had, didn’t turn to mush and break apart like every other one I’ve ever eaten. I had the Turkey club on a GF bread with a Garden Salad and my hubby had the 50/50 burger with fries. Both of us greatly enjoyed our meal and will be back when we end up back on that side of the state. Thank you Hank’s Tavern to making people with food allergies feel welcome and understood! Ya’ll are onto something great!!

The food choices for me at least I’d say limited, but what I did try so far was from good to outstanding, like the rainbow throut, beef stroganoff and beef barley soup. The service is hit or miss, but never had a really bad one. I don’t like the area on the back because it’s cramped with way to many tables for the room size making it very loud and hard to have your private conversation, not mentioning that seating in the middle row everyone passes you by constantly. Never had a bar experience, so jo comment on that nor on any of it’s beverages since I don’t drink alchohol. Totally recommend this place.

We were on a road trip and decided to give Hank’s Tavern a try after hearing good things about their gluten-free options.
The vibe was super relaxed and welcoming. We sat on the patio, which was really charming with its covered area and pretty window planters full of flowers. The whole experience was great, and our server, Alex, was super sweet and attentive.
I went with the gluten-free 1/2 pound BLT sandwich and a side salad with balsamic vinaigrette, while the Mr. opted for the gluten-free kickin’ chicken sandwich with a side salad too. We both had Pepsi to drink. Honestly, that BLT was hands down the best I’ve had in a restaurant! The gluten-free bun was fluffy, perfectly toasted, and didn’t even taste gluten-free. The bacon was crispy, the mayo was just right, and the tomato slice covered the whole sandwich, so every bite was spot on. The salad was fine, but the vinaigrette could have used a bit more kick.
I’m seriously still thinking about that BLT—I should’ve gotten one to-go!
I highly recommend Hank’s Tavern. They’re fantastic at handling dietary restrictions, the food is delicious, and it’s a great place to sit back and enjoy your meal.

Honest review, if this was a review only for the drinks and Atmosphere it would be a 5 star all day! They are great and friendly. The food quality is a major factor in a good restaurant review. The food presentation is nice. The quality of our food however was not good. As photo documented the wings had what appears to be freezer burn marks “white dry areas” and the texture and taste was not pleasant. Typically we would look past a single issue but the fish was going south and very fishy. We are big seafood eaters and know when fish is on the bad side. My wife ordered the fillets and the cook and seasoning was not a quality we would expect when going out to eat. I do not wish to leave negative reviews and only leave our honest opinion to help businesses grow and take advantage of this platform. Thank you

Not from the area, we were drawn to Hank’s based on other positive reviews posted about the gluten free options available on the menu. I got the Black n Bleu Burger, and was not disappointed. I would definitely seek this place out once I’m back in this area again.
