Excellent American bistro right across from Lake Onalaska. Beautiful patio for outdoor dining. Service was impeccable, and the food was comforting yet bore the mark of a thoughtful hand. Wine list is not huge, but expertly crafted. Definitely deserves a visit!

Things have changed. Our first time in since new ownership. And it’s fantastic. Excellent service and the menu is filled with nicely chef inspired options. My wife loved the flatbread. She chose white sauce with mushrooms. I ordered the Osso Buco and it was delicious. Our party also had the Arancini appetizer which was actually my favorite thing at the table.

Great food. Loved that they had gluten-free options. Friendly server who ensured that the kitchen avoided my allergy items. The atmosphere was updated and fresh. Highly recommend

We had great service. Despite being packed inside and outside, we received our food pretty quickly. The food itself was delicious. The sweet potato fries weren’t soggy or over cooked like many places. The steak was also cooked to perfection. The only thing stopping a perfect score was that the restaurant was FREEZING COLD inside. My teeth were almost chattering.

I gave this place another chance and I am glad I did. I hoped they would be able to find a good kitchen crew again and they did! Second time here in a month and got different dishes each time and both delishes!! Please consider going back!

Great atmosphere, clean, employees very attentive. Reason for 3 stars…. My daughter ordered the “Comfort Bowl” off the specialties, bread bowl with mashed potatoes, breaded or grilled chicken, and brown beef? Gravy. Kinda weird and nothing special at all. Came with a side.
I ordered the macaroni and cheese and added pulled pork. It had a plain piece of toast cut in four squares with butter…not even garlic bread. I will give this restaurant another try as they have an extensive sandwich and hamburger menu and maybe this first try was just not their best effort. Prices range from $8.00-$15.00.

We had to wait several minutes after being seated until a waitress greeted us. She was very sincere and kind in apologizing, and she gave us impeccable service after that. They appeared to be a little short handed. The wait was worth it!
The chicken waffle and southwest wrap were both very delicious. The spicy ranch really made the southwest wrap flavorful.
They have a nice indoor and outdoor atmosphere, clean bathrooms, and it feels very modern and updated.

The hostess told us it would be a 20 minute wait for seating and then a 40 minutes wait for our meal. We skipped a table and sat at the bar. The hostess was close, it was 50 plus wait for our meal. We watched the bartender move and hustle the whole time. The restaurant was full of empty tables and booths so it was obvious they were short staffed. I did not like my side of mashed potatoes but other than that and the wait it was a nice experience. Drink menu is large, tv’s at each side of the bar, shaded patio seating and a clean bathroom. Parking is side street so be prepared to parallel park.
