Sayona Restaurant at Neasden Swaminarayan Temple is a great all‑in‑one spot for anyond. They have a restaurant, a shop, and a food counter for quick takeaway — all under one roof, which makes it incredibly convenient.

The food is fresh, the service is smooth, and it’s perfect whether you want a full meal or something to grab on the go.

We had booked the Shayona lounge to celebrate a birthday. Shaishav was very helpful with the booking process and ensured that the event went smoothly. All the variety of food served was warm and was mouthwatering. The service provided by the member of staff Divyesh was brilliant. Divyesh refilled the buffet as and when required and also took a few pictures for us . We had a few guests with allergies and their needs were also catered for. We would not hesitate to book a party here again. Thank you Shayona and the team.

We hosted a family lunch at Shayona Restaurant for a group of 30 guests and opted for their set menu, which included three starters, four mains, naans, pickles, and far far. The restaurant was specifically chosen to accommodate the Jain food requirements of some of our guests.

Initially, we had some concerns based on mixed reviews and feedback from other family members who had previously dined there and were not entirely satisfied. However, after speaking with Shaishav, the manager, he listened carefully to our concerns and took appropriate steps to ensure the event ran smoothly.

Most importantly, the food was freshly prepared, well-balanced in flavour, and not overly spicy or oily, which was appreciated by all our guests. Everyone was pleased with the selection, and there were no shortages—in fact, there was more than enough food for everyone.

The space allocated for our group was sufficient and comfortable. The only minor issue was that our seating was close to the kitchen, and at times the kitchen noise was noticeable. That said, the overall ambience was simple, clean, and pleasant, very much in keeping with a restaurant associated with a place of worship.

In terms of value, the price per plate felt fair considering the quantity and quality of food provided. We did not feel it was overpriced, contrary to what some reviews have suggested. Table and seating arrangements were well managed, with enough room to move around without feeling cramped. Plates and cutlery were readily available throughout the meal.
The food was served buffet-style, and we were given adequate time between courses, which allowed guests to eat comfortably and at a relaxed pace.

Overall, it was a positive experience, and our guests left satisfied. A good option for larger groups, especially where Jain or vegetarian dietary requirements are essential.

The ambience is great but compared to the fact that there is a plaque outside the restaurant claiming it is a Michelin star restaurant the food is not as tasty as I expected it to be. It was good but not extraordinary with all due respect. It is clean, staff if well behaved, kid friendly, and overall nice.

We visited Shayona Restaurant on 12th October with a group of around 70 people, and the experience was excellent. The service was smooth, well-coordinated, and very professional. Despite the large group, everything was served on time, fresh, and perfectly organized. The staff were polite, attentive, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the meal.
A special thank-you to Shaishav for his outstanding support. Truly appreciate the effort from the entire Shayona team. Highly recommend!

This review is for the cafe outside the restaurant.

Wide range of food to satisfy any palette.

It’s a heaven on earth for gujus – thepla, dhokla, handvo, puran Puri, nastas.

Jalapeños cheese sandwich was a melt in the mouth. Ample filling, filling was adequate for every bite.

Theplas were soft & well seasoned.

Puran Puri was well made, with good cardamom flavour & mildly sweet.

Masala coffee & Masala tea was pipping hot.

Warm & friendly staff accommodated the request to warm the thepla.

Chutneys are free & next to the counter.
