This was my first time dining at Trulucks, but it most definitely will not be my last. From the incredible food, romantic atmosphere and astounding service this place is a new favorite. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by Steve. He was very attentive and made the most amazing margarita. We really enjoyed interacting with him during dinner because he had such a fun positive attitude. He completely made our night. As for the food, we had the stone crab, legs, appetizer, and the lobster bao. For the main meal, we had the filet mignon flight and the lobster Thermidor. Every single thing we had was absolutely delicious. I have read previous review stating they are known for their seafood and it was spot on. This was some of the best seafood I’ve ever tasted. I also like that the menu had many different choices so it has something for everyone. There is an outside seating area that was very elegant as well.

The calamari was light, crispy, and tasty, but the most flavor was found in the sauce. Our server hyped up the rolls so we gaveit a try, but I found it to be dry. The lamb chops were succulent, but could use more seasoning. The salmon was incredibly delicious and moist. Chose the spicy blackberry margarita – while tasty, I felt as if “punch” was weak.
Now for the desserts. Jumped into 2 – key lime pie and the carrot cake. The key lime pie was good, but I’d prefer a more tasty flavor. Then there’s the carrot cake – now I see why it’s called “World Famous…” So frigging good! Moist, sweet, nutty, plus a caramel sauce = chef’s kiss. I’d come back JUST for that!

From the time we entered the building we knew it would be a great experience, and we were right! The ambiance was appealing, though the dining room was dim, we were able to see the menu because when you opened it…it illuminated! Our waiter, though a trainee, treated us with exceptional service. The impeccable added touch of calling is by our last name was (chef’s kiss) top notch. Which brings me to the food which was just as amazing as the ambiance and service.

We dined at Truluck’s several weeks ago, and we’re still talking about it. That’s how exceptional this place is. The crab cakes, caviar, miso sea bass, and carrot cake were all outstanding, complemented perfectly by their impressive wine selection.
What truly elevated our experience was our server, Ed. His attentiveness was remarkable. We joked that it seemed impossible for our wine glasses to get even halfway empty before he appeared out of nowhere to refill them. His service transformed an already excellent meal into something truly memorable.
We can’t wait to return.

Jobs Wel-Done
It’s our 21st wedding anniversary and I entrusted Trulucks with making it special and memorable. What a great decision that was. Franky, our server, elaborately described the menu and all the nuances of each dish. When I made the reservation I mentioned that it was for a wedding anniversary and each staff member that we encountered recognized this, making us feel special (and me look like a star). They also decorated the table to help us celebrate, with a hand written card, what great attention to detail!! We will definitely return and I will definitely recommend Trulucks to my friends and family. Thank you!

I must give credit where credit is due. My husband and I chose this restaurant based on its stellar reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Our server, Britney, was genuinely one of the best we have had in a long time, impressive even for us New Yorkers who dine out often and are used to top-tier service. Her recommendations were spot on: we started with the stone crabs and shared a perfectly prepared surf and turf that we loved. To make the evening even more special, we were surprised with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary, which was the perfect finishing touch to a fantastic meal.

WOW!!! Truluck’s was fantastic and quite impressive. We started at the bar for single barrel old fashioned and they were awesome. The bar staff knew their trade and made exceptional cocktails. They were also friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant. After the drinks we were seated and Anna was our server. She was beyond awesome and made us feel welcome. After ordering one more single barrel old fashioned, Anna guided us through the menu options and we ordered a shrimp cocktail and a medium order of the fresh Florida stone crab claws with butter. The appetizers were incredible. For dinner I had the meso-glazed sea bass and my wife had the sesame seared tuna. Again, both meals were were over the top. For dessert we had a baked Alaska and two decaffeinated coffees and they were also lovely. This was one of the finest seafood restaurants we have been at lately and would recommend Truluck’s to anyone with a serious passion for quality 5-star service and awesome food and drinks.

Came here on a whim for happy hour and sat at bar. The happy hour drink specials are terrific; the happy hour food not so happy. Much better happy hour food prices almost anywhere. I have to say while the external curb appeal is not appealing, the internal ambiance is spectacular and I will return for a dinner just for that! Even the menus are lit up. Great place to impress someone!
