The manager insisted to argue with me , about the freshness of the chicken. I said if the chicken is old I’m bringing it back, he says don’t take it. I ask are you cooking more chicken I’ll wait. I said they are not cooking more, because the truck is here. This is around 2pm on a Saturday 2/7/26. I’ve Manager bigger places and not once have I argue with the customer. He not showing leadership for his association that works at this establishment. The lady that helped me was great

This place is consistently the CRAZIEST wait I’ve ever experienced. I just like the food so here I am again…. suffering… Just waiting for food I had pre-ordered on the ap. Whats the point. They don’t start making it until you get there anyway. They don’t even have a drive thru. How hard can this be!!!!

When i arrived I was told 4 min wait for the wings. After 10 min I went and asked about the order. Another employee looked at me and said 4 min for the wings. I told him that the other employee said that same thing 10 min ago. Then when the time came to give me the food he had an attitude with me. Your issues are deeper than you realize. Go undercover or send someone undercover and see for yourself!

8/16/2025 9:30 pm. I went to this store after got off the work. I order food through online. Order family meal with 12 wing 6 pcs tender and 2 large side. My order #11. I was waiting outside of the store. 10 minutes later, I went to store tell cashier online order #11. So she gave me a small bag which is kind the smaller bag compared to what I had before. They stable the bag. I asked lady cashier “are you sure everything is in the bag” her answered is yes. So I left. After 15 minutes, I arrived home. Break the bag, took all the food out, but I couldn’t find my favorite chicken tender. So I call the store, one of the guy answered the phone, I explained my situation and ask him do you want me to bring the food back to double confirm. He said I don’t need it , and he apologized for everything. I was ok with his personality. And add a moment to him, please double check next time. Cause I am living 15 minutes away. So I grab my key and drive 15 minutes to the store. And I ask same cashier do you have my tender ready? I thought she knew already. But she seem didn’t know anything. The. She went to room to ask manager. Manager show up, he deny he speak with me over the phone. He look at me with doubt. Not even a single world sorry or apologize, he asked me where is the food, I said someone on the phone said I don’t have to bring food back. So I asked him who is the person that I spoke over the phone. One guy who clean the floor admitted he did with a very low voice. Manager said I will give your the chicken with bad attitude. I am not there to begging you for chicken which I paid for. Chicken tender box right on the counter.
I am very mad. I was waiting someone say something to comfort my soul. I asked myself should I take the chicken . Forget it about. I made my final call, pushing the box to the floor. I am leaving.
I will never go back to this store again.
Maybe I will have to say bye to Popeyes chicken!
Here is my main point.
I paid for my food.
But something is missing in the bag.
Do I have right to get my food back.
Do you guys need to say , I am sorry.
Can you use doubt sight to your customers who claim did not get food completely.
Do you really think people try to cheat 6 pcs tender drive 15 minutes and back 15 minutes total 30 minutes for “6 pcs tender”
Here is my advice. Store manager should get fired. Switch the guy who clean the floor. He had better personality.

This is the slowest popeyes ever. I work 5mins away and it literally takes my whole lunch break 45mins to get a simple combo meal. Everytime too….like no sense of urgency or time management. I literally stopped going there for this reason.

A woman tripped over the carpet in the doorway and hurt herself badly. The man who was running the store continued to serve chicken to people who were stepping over her. i called her family and the ambulance while he continued to work like she wasn’t in the doorway. Terrible

I would like to start off and say this This popeye’s location went against health code violations.. On Friday at 10 PM. I placed an online order through the app.I sent my son to pick up my order.My son reached at popeye’s around 10:15 to pick up the order. I believe it was the manager that was at the register.As soon as my son walked in, he asked him his name and he handed him the bag.My son did not know what I ordered.All he knew was that he was picking up an order for me.My son gets home with an order. I than realized that the bag was too small for what I did ordered after going through the bag. It was a fish sandwich with fries.I told my son make sure that you do not hand this to them, it is a health code violation and I know what I was sick with.( Highly contagious)… So the guy. At the register, as I’m recording the phone call conversations that I informed the manager of doing so. In the event I had to provide proof to the HEALTH DEPT for further investigation.

My son being a teenager that he is, he misinterpreted.What I told him so he left the bag at home with the receipt.I understand the manager needed to see where he went wrong, but he was rebuttling back and forth with my son and me as if it was out fault for the mistake. I have the recording. So with that be Being said instead of sending my son back for the 3rd time. I made it my duty to go up to popeye’s. I get to popeye’s I am greeted by the manager and I said I was the lady that was on the phone recording the conversation After I done made it clear to him that he cannot take the food back. That was given to me by mistake. He than ask for the bag of food and throws it in his trash which is on the other side of the counter where the fresh food is being made. He did not wash his hands. I proceeded to ask him? Can I get a courtesy cup due to your inconvenience that I had to drive up here 2 extra times. He declined. That’s when I said oh hell.No, this cannot go unmentioned. He showed no remorse.Where was his customer service?! He showed no accountability and he made us felt as if it was our mistake instead of him apologizing.His attitude was very bad about it and i’m wondering if popeye’s can hire other people because it seems as if he knew he was very unreplaceable.
