We have had the most amazing food here on several occasions, on one occasion dinner was not so good…be sure to let your server know if something is not quite right. The only way restaurant survive is by making the customer happy enough to come back often and tell their friends. The atmosphere is casual yet elegant. I happen to be a Chef myself Le Cordon Bleu trained and this is definitely a gem in the desert

We were traveling through Congress, Arizona, and were delighted to find Nichols West! The breakfast and the service were both excellent, as was the ambience of this cheerful little eating establishment. A traditional 3 egg breakfast sandwich for my husband and a traditional egg, bacon, sourdough toast, and the best melt-in-your-mouth hash browns….wwwooooooowww. it was all very tasty! Pinned on the map, for sure. Love the artwork!

I enjoyed the menu and ordered their Cuban Sandwich. My partner street style tacos. Be sure to try their fried pickles. Good prices, nice bar area and outstanding outside dining area!

The dining room is small and cut up. The music was, I believe, my playlist. We got the Cuban and the Rueben, both were excellent, large portions. The only side available are fries, which aren’t my favorite. The restrooms are just outside the back door and we’re clean.

Funky spot in Congress – worth the stop. They are usually packed so try to make a reservation ahead of time if you are coming at night. Tried the fish and chips – ok – and brownie basket – fantastic. The staff were super busy and moving as quickly as they could – be patient if you choose to eat here.

We got detoured off I-17 because of a wildfire, so came home from Jerome by way of Wickenburg. It was a beautiful drive through People’s Valley & Yarnell, and decided to make a pit stop in Congress. I had heard about this treasure in the desert, and we decided to try it. Wow! The Chilean Sea Bass was outstanding. The Chicken Marsala sauce was mouthwatering with fresh mushrooms and onions. Chicken was really moist and flavorful. Next time I’ll order without the fettuccine. I had leftovers, the portion was so generous. Nice wine list and fancy booze choices. They must cater to the cattlemen in the area. Service was exceptional. I even watched a young man walk a few elderly gentlemen out to their car. Already planning our next road trip to bring friends. I want to try the Chicken Pot Pie, Clam & Andouille Sausage Fettuccine, and the Duck Tacos!

Great food, great service. This place is a pleasant surprise in a sparsely populated area. It was recommended by a local in Wickenburg, definitely worth the 10-minute Drive. The seafood bouillabaisse is excellent.

Very good food. Way out here in Congress but if you are ever in the area this is a great place to stop by. My wife and I order quite a few menu items as seen in the pics. All of them were great, especially loved the zucchini chips. Can’t wait to come back and try something else. The staff was very friendly and had great suggestions.
