We are a family-owned business established in Clermont, Florida, serving this beautiful city since 2007. When settling in Clermont, “the gem of the hills”, we noticed the lack of Latin food venues and quickly decided to establish our restaurant known as “El Cerro”. The name is akin to the Spanish word hill which we loved about Clermont. We are personally engaged in bringing our clients a fresh home-cooked meal in a buffet style with many choices. Our menu also incorporates many a la carte dishes sure to please any palate at affordable prices. All this to be enjoyed in an atmosphere that is simple, pleasant and friendly. Our hope is that you can make your way to Clermont with a hearty appetite so you can enjoy all we have to offer!

We’ve enjoyed eating here in the past, so choosing them to cater our family event felt like the perfect decision and they truly made it special. Henry was absolutely wonderful to work with. He took such great care in helping me choose just the right amount of food for our gathering, without ever making me feel pressured or upsold.
Everything was ready right on time, beautifully prepared, and made with so much love. My family couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was especially the pasteles! They were an absolute hit.

The Spanish breakfast sandwich is Amazing! I order with Tomatoes instead of Ham . They have Spanish rice , Ropa Veja, Pot roast, Chicken, Pork. I personally don’t eat meat anymore but man do I miss it when I walk in here. The Aroma of Real Authentic Food fills the Restaurant.

Food is excellent taste great I used to eat there a lot. I don’t know if they got new owners now but the last several times I went there hasn’t been the same atmosphere is different. today was an experience that I’ve never dealt with at any restaurant and was my final straw I will never be going back to that place…..

EL Cerro’s NEVER disappoints! They went above and beyond for my catering order of 40ish people this past weekend. Unfortunately they had a family member whoms not doing well in their family and had to close on Saturday, but because my order was already preplanned they had came in specifically to assist me with my order! I highly recommend this place for any regular luncheon or catering!

I stopped here yesterday for lunch! I’ve been here before several times before! Yesterday was Friday 4-16-2021 and I ordered the Cuban sandwich & it was delicious! Service was awesome! Food was delicious! I will be back for the Cuban Sandwich! My sandwich was a cooked soon as I ordered it. It was hot and fresh when I got it! I love El Cerro!

First time eating here. The place looks clean and almost new. It’s small but not uncomfortably small. Parking spots are also somewhat smaller than usual and difficult to maneuver in.
Employees are very friendly and attentive. There also seem to be some confusion amongst the employees as to who did what. Two menu choices; order from the buffet (already cooked food), or from the screen menu (prepared on the spot). I decided to have breakfast; the usual, two fried eggs, bacon, plantain, and toast and coffee. My wife ordered the Spanish Omelet, toast, and coffee.
It took a little longer than usual for the food to arrive. It was in styrofoam take-out plates. The food was good, but the bacon quantity was scarce.
It appears that they are just starting and figuring things out. I this is a great place to stop by and get your lunch or dinner in a hurry; food is always hot and ready. .I’m sure this place will be busy soon. Good luck and plan ahead; we will be back!
