I visited Intercontinental Nigerian Restaurant today and ordered the jollof rice with fish, tripe, and plantains. The food was okay overall. This was my second time trying Nigerian jollof rice, and it was a good experience, even though it didn’t fully stand out to me this time.

What I really appreciate is the variety on the menu. There are many options to choose from, and I’d like to go back and try some of their other dishes. Here in Columbus, Ohio, we’re fortunate to have many African restaurants serving our diverse African communities. I’m truly grateful to all the restaurant owners who continue to share our culture and flavors with us.

The place has the usual atmosphere of small restaurants on a strip mall. But the food is well made – authentic Nigerian cuisine.

I came in within an hour of their opening and the service was quick. Good good and good value for your money – in my opinion.

The food was so good! They were friendly and our food didn’t take long at all regardless of being there late. I recommend if you want to eat correct African food! I spent the amount I did because I ordered a lot of things

Lovely Lady served me. Food was excellent. I ordered the warrior platter with fish And I ordered some chicken dish with rice. The food was abundant and I had enough for 3 days. If you like spicy food there is a little kick to it but not as hot as some food I’ve had like Nepali or some very hot Mexican. I actually left my wallet there and 4 days later when I realized it wasn’t in my house somewhere and I called them, they had been trying to contact me and find me. So happy ending as well. I know God will bless them and their restaurant.

Gideon and his mom are the best! The food was to die for! I’m definitely coming back. I went with me and 7 of my friends because we wanted to try a new authentic restaurant. They definitely put authentic in restaurant!
Such loving people at the end of our meal we got to meet the cook his mom and thank you so much for her hard work and the meal!
If you’re looking for a great place to have some authentic Nigerian food, this is the place to go! I look forward to seeing the business grow!
P.s. it took a little bit of a weight, but they made sure all the food was warm and ready to be served for all 8 of us total it’s only Gideon and his mom was well worth the wait!

I love this place! Last time I ordered okra stew , jollof and the black eyed pea dish. All the meat was really tender and delicious. Whenever I’m in Columbus I have to stop by. I live an hour away and the food was still hot/warm when I got back!!

We had decided to try Nigerian food for the first time, and we were able to come to this restaurant since we had come to shop in Columbus. The portions were large and a good price. We were able to try lots of different dishes, and we had tons of leftovers. It was a wonderful experience.

Food portions are big ,food is ok I don’t know what big gelatinous piece of fat they put in my fish stew. It had a horrendous smell, I wish they had left that out. The rice has too much oily for my liking also to much oil in and the stew. Service could be improved. Over all ok restaurant

For someone who lives in Cleveland, you have no idea how happy I was when I Googled an African restaurant near me, and I came across this. I was visiting the city and I decided to grab myself some food. The owner was very friendly and kind. Food was also good, and it’s in big portions, I just had to order some takeout because I know I will not get anything like this back in Cleveland. I’ll definitely be visiting again whenever I am in the city.
