My husband and I ate here last night while staying at the Wisp for some skiing. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! To start, we ordered the loaded potato wedges (not pictured). My husband ordered the cowboy steak with regular fries and added shrimp. I ordered the New York strip and crab cake with asparagus. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection, we like it medium rare. The crab cake was one of the best I’ve had in the area. It was a snowy night so aside from two couples at the bar, it was just us! Parking can be a little confusing, but the food made up for it. We will be back when we come to this area again!

We arrived about 30 minutes early for our reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be seated in only about 10 minutes. The hostess led us to a cozy dining area with a warm log cabin feel, and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable.

The food was excellent! My steak was cooked to absolute perfection, and my wife’s gluten-free crab cakes were outstanding. The crab soup was another highlight—rich, flavorful, and served piping hot. Even the children’s steaks were cooked just right, which doesn’t always happen at restaurants.

Our server, Sierra, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and quick to check in for drink refills. The food came out quickly, fresh, and hot.

Overall, Pine Lodge is a gem just off the lake, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Oakland.

Loved our waitress Jess H. She was kind, funny , sassy im the best way and her recommendations were on point. My boyfriend and I got the ribeye (medium rare) with the loaded mashed potatoes and the porterhouse (rare) with jacked mac and cheese. The ribeye was a bit tougher than I’d like but the porterhouse was so tender he could pull it apart with just a fork. We finished the night with creme brulee and it was the perfect light sweet pallette cleanser after the garlic butter from the steak. Will definitely be returning.
*The (-1) star for ambience was because of temperature. It was so cold in thw restaurant I felt like I should have brought my coat and it made my dinner get cold really fast.

First time at Deep Creek Lake.
I was expecting more at Pine Lodge. It’s a very large place but seemed so wide open and empty.
Entrance is confusing!
Parked in the big lot in front, But you have to walk downhill to a lower level entry door. Once inside they take you up steps to the dining area. The area that would be simple walk in from the parking lot we came from.
Cream of crab soup was very bad. A bit gritty and a few small shells in it.
Dinner was a fettuccine pasta dish with diced steak. The pasta didn’t seem to taste like actual fresh made pasta. And I’ve reviewed a lot of Italian restaurants to know.
Our waitress “Jaime” was super great! She and my cobbler dessert was the best part!!

We visited during the winter, so I can’t speak for what it’s like in the summer months, but we had a wonderful dinner experience. The ribs and the prime rib were both excellent—tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We also really enjoyed the dessert selection. My wife had the crème brûlée, and I had the cheesecake with caramel whiskey bacon, which was absolutely delicious. We’d definitely come back again!

We came here for our Valentine’s Day dinner. The barbarian bread was the BEST bread we have EVER eaten in our entire lives and we are not exaggerating! Our waiter, Jess, was incredibly kind and made our experience even more special. The Valentine’s menu was super fun and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was calm, and the service was amazing. We highly recommend this place to celebrate your special holidays and moments.

We had a Party of 8 (4 Couples)
We wanted separate checks, and we were told that it could only be done in parties of 3 or more. We said fine, just do 2 couples per check!
Get the checks and 1 was the drinks, and 1 was the meals. Ok, fine we can figure this out. Had most of the bill in cash and we instructed her of how much to charge 2 individual credit cards. Didn’t get that right either!
Food was ok, and we would be more forgiving if waitress took the time to do things as instructed! I guess she figured she was getting a 20% Gratuity already and doing stuff right wasn’t actually needed!
BTW when you Charge People for Ice Cream on their dessert, Whip Cream isn’t the same and you shouldn’t charge people for Ice Cream

I got their oak barrel steak (?). It has good seasoning and is juicy, but the portion isn’t worth the price I gotta pay for it. Not a bad place, but don’t expect to get full with one entree.

Beautiful views of Wisp resort at night!
We came here after a day of riding the slopes, and the experience did not disappoint.
The bread and butter they serve is a great starter and has a mild sweetness to it.
The creamy crab soup and the French onion soup were amazing. Highly recommend both of them!
The filet mignon was a little over cooked on the exterior of the filet, but as I cut into the center it was more medium rare like I ordered. Not sure if this was from flame ups or not..
Both the asparagus and the broccoli were steamed nicely and the garlic butter was a great addition.
Grab a beer, steak and a draft beer and enjoy the views!

Nice and cozy, our server, Katie, was delightful!! Lodg-ie decor, complete with bears and trees sprinkled around. The scallops with bacon jam were great, as was everything. The risotto had an amazing sweet taste in the background, unlike any I’ve tried before. My tenderloin was cooked beautifully, and the signature Muscato was yummy! Great choice for dinner.
