I’ve realized after going to other sonics that the sonic in roanoke rapids runs a little better than most.
I’ve never had a bad experience here, if i order online it’s ready when i arrive. And the play land is always clean for my kiddos.

The food was soggy lifted the burger and it fell apart. It was thrown together and looked real messy .
Update; Andrea the manager called me and gave us 2 free combo meals. Went there tonight around 5pm and i will definitely not be going back here again. The burgers were supposed to be double bacon cheeseburgers and they had no cheese. And one had extra pickles and there was no extra.. the fries were barely even filled and the onion rings were mush.. i honestly thought it would be a different experience tonight and it was worse.. took over 25 minutes to be helped and cars pulled up way after us and were served before us. .. i will not be going back here at all to eat.

We obtained some coupons to use at Sonic from a monthly flyer that arrived in our mail box.. It was our first time going to Sonic. We decided to get hotdogs, drinks and sundaes. An order over $20 was knocked down to $8
All the food was delicious.
It was fun to watch the employees skating back and forth. They were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the car and had a lovely meal and desert.

how is there something wrong with the order every single time. like that’s statistically impossible, The BLT is burnt, got a large mozzarella sticks nothing to dip them in, got two pretzels nothing to dip them dry things in, and two corn dogs, no sauce of any kind. one pack of salt and two peppermints.

I love Sonic’s onion rings, corn dogs, and drink possibilities. That said, locally, there is always a hint of problem in the order when it’s received. From leaving out items, to over-cooked items, this store has it’s fair share of problems in it’s service.
But I always manage to forgive and forget. It’s little things, to me, that make the big difference. My local Sonic was my second job as a teenager. And working the years I did in fast food taught me just how easy it actually is. From 16-20 I worked fast food joints around my town.
So when I ask for onions ON my Foot long Coney, I’m very dissatisfied when I find just as many onions BESIDE my Foot long Coney.

I love going to sonic. My only issue is that when the microphone on the screen goes out and the person comes to take your order, should definitely write it down. We placed the order face to face and repeated it 2 times because it was loud that day. The employee repeated it back correctly but didn’t put it I’m system right and we were missing some food. We asked about it and the employee said sorry I messed up but if you want it now you still have pay, which was fine but not worth the trouble.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was too bad to ignore. I went to Sonic the other day craving some chili cheese tots, thinking it’d be a quick, satisfying snack. What I didn’t expect was to be served a side of ROACHES with my order.
Yep, you read that right. I took one bite, something felt off, so I decided to check under the cheese—and there they were. TWO roaches chilling under the melted cheese like it was part of the recipe. Absolutely disgusting.
I took the food back to the window, and while the employee apologized and gave me a refund, the damage was already done. I shouldn’t have to worry about pests in my food, period. Safe to say, I won’t be coming back to this location, and if you value your health, you might want to think twice before you do either.
Do better, Sonic.
