I have followed the Westside Restaurant in Milford DE on Facebook for awhile and have always been tempted by their food offerings. Finally experienced breakfast here on a Saturday with friends visiting from PA. Our experience was terrific! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They seated us in an oversized booth which was perfect. The food was delicious and well portioned. I had an omelet with home fries, toast and an extra side of scrapple! Everything was perfect and the scrapple was extra crispy, just how I like it. Our server was fantastic. We all enjoyed our breakfast and the Westside will be our new tradition each holiday season.

We came in today for the first but not last time. I forget our server’s name, and she was great. Told her it was our first time there. Service was fast, food was even faster. Sat next to a little old lady (her words) that must be there everyday. Food was really good. I did have to laugh at our mugs… She gave us the Camp Rehoboth ones, first I thought everyone had them, then I realized it was only us…lol. Guessing she wanted us to know we were welcome there. We will be back.

My server was Heather & she was very attentive,excellent! I ordered the Florentine omelet with grits instead of home fries, toast & a side of scrapple. It was cooked perfectly, the food was very delicious. The price was reasonable. I sat in the enclosed porch that had screen windows & 2 open doors so the air flow was lovely. Very relaxing.

I ordered breakfast takeout from Westside Diner today and wanted to share some feedback. Overall, the meal was good and the rest of the order was prepared well, but the turkey bacon was unfortunately overcooked to the point of being burnt. It was very dark, tough, and not edible.
I’m not writing this to complain, but to bring it to the restaurant’s attention. A quick quality check on items like turkey bacon before they go out, especially on takeout orders where customers can’t send things back, would make a big difference. I’d be happy to order from Westside Diner again, but I do hope the kitchen takes a closer look food quality after its prepared.

We’ve eaten at Westside restaurant several times over the past few years. They have added a nice outdoor dining area.
We stopped in for breakfast a few days ago. After a few minutes of sitting, a server came and took our order. Our drinks were served promptly, and after a short week, all of our food arrived.
Our entire order was correct, and the food arrived warm. We really enjoyed our food as each item was well prepared and very tasty.
We are looking forward to our next visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The ambiance was warm and inviting, but what truly made the evening special was the outstanding service and food.
Our server, Heather, was incredibly polite, attentive, and genuinely accommodating of our dietary restrictions. We had a few customizations, and not only were they handled with care, but they were also met with a positive attitude and thoughtful suggestions. It’s rare to find a place so open and flexible with special requests without compromising on the quality. While the vegetarian options were limited, the food was phenomenal. Every dish was fresh and you could really tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.
Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and exceptional service.

Had a group of 8 looking for a breakfast spot and upon searching we found this spot. The service was excellent with coffee refills coming before we even needed to ask. All our breakfast items were delicious. We will definitely be returning to this place.

Got here one Wednesday morning at 8:08am and got my food at 8:16am! That’s in the door, place the order, to the table, in 8 mins flat. Fastest service I ever gotten so far at any restaurant I’ve visited. Everyone talks about the servers and the service and I can guarantee it’s 100% fact and not a fluke or one time thing. Every customer gets the same great service, busyness willing.
I went around 8 like I said and according to google they normally get busy around 9-11am. It wasn’t busy when I went but I do think I got in at the right time because several other people showed up after me. As far as I saw, everyone got their food relatively quickly after sitting down, even with a influx of people coming in.
Staff was friendly and you pay by taking your check up to the counter.
The outside was cool looking and they have great outdoor seating that’s covered. I can’t wait to go back and have breakfast under it on a good day. Today was chilly so that wasn’t an option. They do have a ton of seating available and the inside is very homey and clean. I loved the feel and privacy of the booths. Having the covers over the seats really makes a difference. The food was a little cold in some areas which is odd because of how fast it came out. Everything I tasted tho was delicious and the over easy eggs where cooked perfectly.

Been coming here since I was a kid, absolutely love their dinner! Their breakfast is great too! Plus their fries are the best around, hands down .
I hope they continue to thrive and grow . One of the few “diners” around with a nice atmosphere and amazing staff! It’s kinda hidden, so not everyone knows about it, but those who do are DEDICATED customers ❤️. It’s gotten a lot better over the years, but I do wish the parking was a little better? I know there isn’t really much they can do given the fact that the building sits on a corner, which usually? I don’t mind ♂️. I’ll park down the street and walk just to eat there if need be .
Been there a few times when they were SLAMMED, the staff performed their jobs with ease and a smile on their face. Laughing and joking with each other from across the room while everyone else engaged in their own conversations .
Praying for their success , if you’re new to Milford or the area in general, definitely recommend stopping in for a nice dinner or breakfast at Westside!

Great place for breakfast! You always know SOMEONE when you come here. Food comes out fast and hot. The servers are super friendly. The chicken pot pie is the best in the state!
