Tally’s Tap & Eatery, located in Waukesha, WI, has been a third generation family owned and operated restaurant and bar since 2013. We pride ourselves on our scratch cooking, craft cocktails, great happy hour and daily food specials. In addition, we offer curbside and pick up services for our guests. We are well known for our Sunday Meat Raffles, Karaoke, and seasonal sports specials and give-aways. We strive to support local businesses and have hosted many fundraisers in our 9 years as Tally’s Tap & Eatery. We are so grateful for our guests and look forward to many more years of servicing our community.

I used to hear about this place in the now defunct 1250am sports radio advertised during “The Big Show.” We happened to pass by a year ago and then recently and popped in. Sensational food! The Wisco Burger is divine. Great pizza and Italian beef are made there. The Tally’s Fries, particularly the Garlic Parm, are not only unique in shape but also the best fries we’ve ever had, hands down. Their limited Grilled Cheese and Soup specials in January have great choices, especially that jalapeño popper GC. The Saturday special, the King Nacho is insanely big and could probably feed a good 4 folks. They now serve Yuengling on tap. Staff are great. The place is always buzzing with patrons, and they have a great beer lineup. It’s also a festive, welcoming place as well as fun to watch sports.

Overall I like this place. My recent visit was just so so. They were slow. The two waitresses were kind and attentive it was just a slow kitchen. The wings were just average, I’m a bit of a wing snob. The chicken sandwich was the same. I’ll still go back. Just maybe my expectations were a little too high.

Food was excellent. The menu is massive and has great options. Where the restaurant really stood out for us was in their service- the place seemed to be busy, but you wouldn’t know it with the speed and friendliness of service. The collaboration and cohesiveness between staff members was very apparent and made for a great dining experience.

This was my first time there 1/19/2026. Sat by the outside wall, and was freezing cold. The breaded cheese curds was good enough. But the burger was a different story. This is the first time I’ve eaten a burger that had no taste. I even tried eating just a piece of the meat itself. And nothing. They must be mixing ground beef with some other meat. Not good. The fries was a Hugh like twist cut, very thick. And the center has a massive amount of potato, making it unpleasant. Needless to say, I won’t be going back.

One of the reviews said its usually a long wait. We were seated as soon as we walked in and it was a Saturday late afternoon at that. This was our first visit. We are from out of state working in Milwaukee and we love trying different places throughout our travels. Our waitress was excellent and the food was fantastic and plentiful. This is one place that is saved in my google maps to return while I am here. I Definitely recommend Tallys Tap & Eatery.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here. The menu options were impressive and we had a hard time choosing what to get. They also had excellent specials today. Service was great and the overall vibe of the restaurant was very inviting.
