Honest review. This was my first time trying Burgers & Bakery after searching the “Spartanburg Foodies” Facebook group for good burgers places in Spartanburg. It also had a 4.6 rating. This place did not disappoint, especially the burger. I try the Spartanburger which came with two patties, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheddar cheese and aioli sauce with sweet potatoes fries. It was hot, juicy and the burger patties were handmade. My sweet potatoes fries had salt on them which I did not like but the server/owner (Deeanna) quick brought me more with no salt. I rate this restaurant as 9/10 overall for the burger and the friendly service. I will definitely come back to experience other menu items.

The parking lot was just muddy. They only had one woman there at a lunch rush taking orders and serving all the tables. You have to pay before you sit. The chair and tables were a bit small. The Burgers were good the sides not so much and it cost $1 for the blueberry jalapeno sauce. The woman was nice. Overall we don’t plan on coming back, sorry.

Finally found the absolute best burgers ever, out of any place I have ever tried…ever.
I had The North Of The Border. The poutine on the burger was amazing. The gravy was delicious, the meat was good fresh quality beef. My wife had The Pim-mater. The fried green tomato and pimento cheese were both delicious, and once again the patty was perfect. Top both of those off with a perfect bun. Great service, and wonderful music as well. With so many options, I can’t wait to go back!

The burgers were great! Appreciated the gluten free bun option. The fries were really good as well. My kids enjoyed the endless boxes of juice with their kids meal! The only complaint is that the inside eating area is moldy and we needed to sit outside on a rather warm day. I would still highly recommend eating here!

Food: Delicious. We tried the Double Bacon Cheeseburger (juicy, with perfectly crispy bacon) and the Bacon Cheeseburger (well-balanced flavors). The fries and desserts were also excellent!
Service: Excellent—fast and friendly.
Atmosphere: Pleasant and cozy, perfect for a date or hanging out with friends.

I’m from Indiana. Just here for work for a week. Been looking forward to this burger for 2 weeks. I must say it was not a disappointment. Got it to go and drove 16 minutes back to my Airbnb and it was still hot and fresh. Can only imagine how much better it would have been eating right out of the kitchen.

This place is a must go to. We each had burgers so big and delicious it was hard to handle but oh so delicious. They have desserts baked fresh all day but we did not have any. We did go downstairs to their coffee shop though and it was delicious as well. You really need to go and enjoy this gem of a place. When the temperatures warm up you can bring your dog and sit on their deck as well. Oh….definitely get the sweet potato fries and ask for their special dipping sauce. It’s so very good!

My sister and I have been wanting to try this since my niece mentioned it. The setting is off the main road in a wooded area which makes for a very nice and tranquil environment. My burger was outstanding as was my sister’s Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Your order and pay for food and then can sit inside or outside, whatever is your preference. The Hidden Bean coffee shop that’s across the patio and down the stairs around the back of the building is also very nice. Will definitely be back, expecting it to be multiple times.
