Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I love the onion rings here and their grilled cheese, I make sure to order it well done or it’s barely cooked without melting the cheese. I like it golden brown and crunchy. I also get grilled onions and grilled jalapeños on it. I really love their cinnamon rolls, but the only complaint about that is they barely have any icing, like it used to cover the whole top and now it’s just a few things lines on top and that’s not enough. They are expensive for fast food. The service isn’t always good and most of the time when I order coffee I wait forever so they can make it, I’ve even called ahead to make sure they would have fresh coffee so I wouldn’t have to wait, and everytime they still had none when I got there. I don’t have that much time to wait for so long. Their hash brown sticks are really good too. I like their spicy ketchup with my onion rings.

Service is wonderful! Drive thru service was quick and our breakfast was hot and yummy. We went out to volunteer at Ker County, and filling our bellies before helping out with debris was a smart thing to do. Thank you to the Whataburger staff for being so kind when our hearts were breaking.

First of all, it took about 20 minutes to get our food, mind you this is supposed to be “fast food.” One of our burgers was cold, and they forgot one of our burgers entirely. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience with unprofessional service, and all we wanted was for the burger to be made correctly.

My burger had peices of gristle in it, terrible service, we had to wait over 30 minutes for 1 meal. And Peter Griffen was very rude and slow, he can barely even walk. He forgot my burger, then I found him eating it.

This was local Texas burger and competing with In-N-Out from my colleagues point of view. I ordered salad with Balsamic dressing. Honestly speaking the roasted chicken was too dried but veggie was fresh. From my colleagues opinion, burger was better from In-N-Out than Whataburger.

Came up to the drive through at 1AM. An employee came out with a trash cart saw us, and turned around and didn’t take the trash to the bin. Proceeded to wait at the drive-thru for 10 mins no answer. Supposedly 24 hours but not the drive-thru???

Very clean nice atmosphere maybe a good place to have a lunch meeting and a glass of wine, service was slow but waitress was very nice, beer was not cold and know one knew what a “dressed” (salt and lime) beer was. Salad was good but the ranch dressing didn’t have much flavor. The thor hammer sandwich looked great but the meat tasted like lunch meat and was not spicy at all. Fries were good.

I’m currently sitting in line one car in front of me at the soeaker been here for 20 minutes and his order still isn’t taken but granted it is 5am but this happens every time I come. I can’t speak for day shift but night shift is amazingly bad at their job. Rude inconsiderate and can’t get orders right. Hire more people that want to do their job
