It’s super refreshing to have live music though it would nice to have a little more variety. The bartenders are all super friendly, especially Ajsa. She always greets me with such a warm smile and her drinks are delicious. Howl is such a great way to start off my night!

Would never get food or drinks from here, found a bug in the nachos we ordered. Manager never came over and apologized, just took the nachos off the bill and only gave one free round of drinks. Very disappointed.

Ultimately, Howl At The Moon is what you make of it. They provide the atmosphere, some seriously talented musicians, kind bartenders and servers who work hard to make sure you have the best time. If you want club vibes, you can go to Down. If you want to hear something specific, you can request it with the band. It is your adventure to choose and they’re there to soundtrack it.
I want to give a special shout out to Brooklyn, who is our server every time we go. She is so sweet and always making sure we have everything we could need. The band are some of the finest musicians I’ve seen since moving to the area and they seem to always be having a great time.
I wanted to also acknowledge the bad reviews about 90’s night. Simply put, if the crowd is requesting songs, that’s the service the band is providing whether or not it is related to the theme. They weren’t requesting songs that came out in the 90s and, if you were upset about it, maybe you should’ve put some requests in.
With that said, my friend and I have become regular attendees and we will continue to come back because we’ve never had a bad time at Howl.

Me and my friends attended Howl at the moon 90s night after winning a raffle that gave us free entry and discounted drinks. The drinks ended up not being as discounted, and those that were tasted terrible. When we asked for the discounted drinks and we’re not given them at times. The atmosphere was not ideal, definitely not 90s theme, we had to pay money to make any song requests or vote for songs, most people had left by 1am. The bartenders were not very kind, especially to our group. There are many other better bars that don’t scam you in the area.

The atmosphere was fun and upbeat. Although there was a company’s work event going on, we were still allowed to go inside and find a seat. We ordered some pizza and specialty drinks, and they were all rather good. Our waitress, Haley, was very kind and fun to be around. I enjoy this place and usually go in the club which is somewhat underneath ;
Everything is inexpensive from the admission fee, to the drinks obviously you should not expect fancy stuff inside ..pretty much all the times I have been there the music does not disappoints ,the DJ’s play good mix of retro techno and pop ; the crowd is mostly college like kids and some older folks
Overall if you want to shake the stress away ,get couple of high noons maybe get an affair and don’t brake the bank on a Saturday night -this is the place ..not to mention that the upstairs bar has a band with live music ;
If you are looking for snobby atmosphere you ll have to go to the seaport -plenty of places there ..

So much fun!! All of the artists were so talented and great about getting the crowd involved. Our waitress was super helpful and kind. There was plenty of seating along the sides and back of the bar. The dance floor is a good size too.

Went for a 90s night – was not 90s themed. To request songs from the band you had to tip way too much money which was so unreasonable. We had wristbands for discounted drinks and the bartenders kept overcharging us even though they saw the wristbands. On top of that, the bartenders were incredibly rude. I will not be returning

Great big bar and very spacious. Toilets are clean and large so you’re not queuing. Food was quick and super tasty. Staff are constantly looking for service and the live band are great. Best bar I’ve been to in Boston so far.
