Excellent service, my server was attentive and showed willingness to accommodate dietary needs, focus on how to make the efforts to make sure different dietary requirements can still be an enjoyable dining experience. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Highly Recommended if you r craving for Huaraches!!!!!

Delicious food. The portions are well served. The best shrimp cocktail in town, fully loaded with shrimp. The staff has always been very friendly and courteous.

The flautas were crispy but lacked flavor and sauce. They came dry in the combo plate. The gordita was alright but also lacked flavor. The beans were not bad but also lacking flavor. Now the red enchilada sauce tasted straight out of the can the taco was greasy and had the same meat as the gordita. Overall lacking flavor. Service was phenomenal though no complaints there. Atmosphere was pleasant.

Went for breakfast, and service size plates are big! The server was attentive and shared some Avena” (oatmeal) that was delicious. (Came with meal). They played music, but it was a bit too loud for my likings.. ( 9 am in the morning) blasting cumbi music. I also got chips and salsa, which was good spicy salsa!

The comida corrida is a good deal for ten bucks. It includes the main course, soup, drink, and dessert. It changes daily. Breakfast is served in hefty-sized plates. The tortilla soup is pretty good. Hits the spot. They have a sign for 20 % off with a Google Review and they come up with a “no” because I didn’t give a 5 star review. Maybe a 2 star would be better for misleading customers. My daughter says, ” you can’t get a 5 star when you serve cold food. Do you even get 5 stars? Oh well, no more Tejano for us.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re in El Paso and craving authentic, flavorful Mexican cuisine, you have to try El Texano’s tortilla soup. It’s the best I’ve had in the city!

The broth is rich and packed with flavor, ample cilantro and fresh avocado. The portion size is generous, leaving you full but still wanting more.

Served with crispy tortilla strips and a side of fluffy Mexican rice, this soup is a standout. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to enjoy this unforgettable dish at El Texano! 15/10 Would recommend.

From the outside, it doesn’t look like much. But inside, it’s spacious. They start you off with a complimentary small bowl of tortilla soup, which was so good we got a large to go afterwards. Chips and salsa were what you expect. Queso Fundido with chorizo was very, very thick and hard to separate, so you will battle with it. Emoladas! Best in El Paso! Thick sauce, not watery. Very good, authentic dish. Chile Rellenos, the same! Huge servings, as well. The server only spoke Spanish, so that’s their only ding. We’ll be back!

I was up in El Paso for a brief moment, hadn’t seen a family member and kids in over 2 years. El Paso has so many choices to make it was a bit hard to decide where we could enjoy dinner together. My cousin recommended El Texano. I am very happy that she did. Although it was pretty late in the evening it was open and we were immediately welcomed in at our arrival. Our waiter was not only very courteous but patient while we all decided what we would choose for our meal and in the meantime he not only brought chips, green and red salsa, but also brought us each a cup of tortilla soup which was on the house for us to taste. Honestly I have never tried tortilla soup before, to my surprise it was my favorite item of the evening! It had a great taste and was absolutely satisfying. It wasn’t long after he brought us our entrees. My little cousin and I ordered a small shrimp cocktails each. I’m pretty picky when it comes to shrimp I like my shrimp to be extremely clean. I was extremely happy to find it wasn’t only very clean but the small was more like a large portion with plenty of shrimp and avocado! El Texano was absolutely worth it!!!

Good breakfast taste; could serve a little more portion as the plate looked a little too big. La salsa está rica. Paid less then 20 for 2. There was a fly lingering around.
