For this visit, I chose the El Paso Benedict and really liked it. It’s basically traditional a Benedict, but with chorizo and avocado, which is a great combination for me. One of the things I also love about this place is that you choose what sort of coffee you want from about 10 different options. I chose three different ones while I was there because it is self-serve I was able to make it just how I like. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area or especially to anyone visiting San Diego.
Starting with the service, it was very poor. They didn’t have any coffee available because the espresso machine was broken, so I couldn’t get what I came for. When I asked for chai tea, I was told it was the last packet they had.
I ordered waffles, which were served plain with just a few strawberries. It didn’t feel worth the price, and the taste was just okay — I only ate half. On the other hand, my friend really enjoyed his hamburger and said it was one of the best he’s had.
Lobster Benedict: amazing
Eggs Benedict: delightful.
California omelette (watch out for jalepenos). Add a good spice but my mother in law who does not enjoy anything spicy was Afraid to have another bite.
Burrito: delicious
Waffles Benedict: delicious
Side choice of fruit, or potatoes
I had a cold brew and my wife and mother in law had the coffee. There was a great selection of various types of coffee.
We will definitely stop by again!
