We haven’t been here in a while but we loved this experience. We ordered all appetisers and they partnered the cocktails so we’ll.
We got sat quickly and the dim lit environment provides perfect causal date night vibes.
The lettuce wraps were the best low carb apps we’ve had in the city and the tofu was crispy yet fluffy. The rib meat fell off the bone and the glaze was sooo Savory and Asian inspired with the hoison sauce.

I got the large orange peel chicken, which came with a side of rice (I chose fried rice) and lightly pickled cucumbers. That, with a soda, tax, and gratuity came to $29.20.

The food was aggressively middle of the road; the service was fine, although drink refills were slow and had to be requested instead of being offered; and the price wasn’t commensurate with the quality. The atmosphere was cool, but that was about it.

Extremely disappointed by the hospitality here. While our server was fine, the service was incredibly slow and we had a bizarrely rude encounter with a woman who appeared to be a manager (blonde hair, glasses).
We spent over $100 for three people, yet getting ketchup for our son was like pulling teeth. After it didn’t come with the appetizer, we asked for some with his chicken strips. The manager condescendingly told us “there’s already ketchup on the table,” then walked off and never brought the extra we asked for. We had to flag our server down just to get a basic condiment.
Looking at other reviews, it’s clear I’m not the first person to complain about this specific individual. It’s honestly weird that ownership is aware of her attitude and hasn’t addressed the issue yet. It’s a shame that such a small request was met with such hostility. With these prices, you expect better. Won’t be back.

Delicious food. My favorite thing here is the fried avocado with the cilantro lime sauce. Of course, the coconut mojito is the most enjoyable way to wash it all down

I was a little disappointed. I prdered tge Pad Thai. The flavor was awesome, however, the noodles were undercooked and chewy. The shrimp was overcooked and rubbery.

We have always loved Jinja. Food is always great. It’s a little pricey, though. And everytime we go, the service is very slow compared to other similar restaurants. Even if they are not busy, it’s slow. Otherwise, it’s an enjoyable experience with lots of unique atmosphere.

The service we received was truly exceptional, a standard rarely encountered in today’s society. Jarrod, the manager, demonstrated exemplary leadership, which was clearly reflected in the outstanding performance of the wait staff. Our waitress, Sydney, was particularly noteworthy for her friendly demeanor, extensive knowledge, and courteous approach. While the culinary offerings were, as always, superb, the service elevated our dining experience to an extraordinary level, making us feel as though we were the sole patrons in the establishment.

The flavor of my food was remarkable. The fish was not that tasty Josiah was a good server . The ice tea tastes like it has been sitting for a while . But everything else was very good . The “fried ” spring rolls was eh for almost 10 bucks .

We also order drink, leamode was good, green tea with pomegranate was good, but the Pain Killer is …. well…. if you have any pain it will be gone for good, it was sooooooo gooood. For dessert they had the peach cheese cake so we got it, and we were not disappointed. 10/10 will come back again to crawl out after several pain killers.
