I came during a very busy time. The staffing wasn’t sufficient but I didn’t take points from service because the servers were smiling and pleasant. They did the best they could. They apologized for the wait. The food was great. It was hot and flavorful. I came for Aurora Restaurant Week so I received a discount. I’m not sure if I would pay full price for the taco meal. I would for the burrito meal. The sauces were also very tasty. The atmosphere was okay. It was nice to see that even though it was busy there was staff coming out to wipe down counters and maintain cleanliness. The parking lot was full.

El Burrito Loco is excellent. I honestly don’t understand how anyone could rate this place less than five stars. I ordered the steak taco dinner, and they absolutely loaded the three tacos with steak, so much that I didn’t think I’d finish it. But it was that good, and I did. The steak was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the table salsa was fantastic with a nice, spicy kick. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We have been coming to this place for years and always had great food and experience. However, our last visit was very disappointing. I ordered a double meat burrito with Al pastor and lingua, and my wife had the bistec a la mexicana. My burrito came out very wet with liquid dripping out of it (assuming it is the broth from boiling the lingua), and the tortilla fell apart half way through eating. My plate had a puddle of liquid by the time I finish eating. And, the steak my wife had was over seasoned and she couldn’t finished. Not sure if we will return.

Worst experience ever, Horrible Service.I want to start off by saying I don’t ever give any businesses bad reviews even when they make mistakes Because I my self am a business owner. But this was just the worst experience I have had at a business. I order 4 tacos and two rice waters in the drive through. When I got to the window the cashiers looked confused, Then they ask me what my order was. I told them 1 steak taco, 3 cabeza tacos and two large rice water. They told me it would be 25.00 dollars instead of 16.00 because they didn’t charge correctly. I was fine with this no problem people make mistakes I paid her and she handed my receipt to me, I checked my receipt to make sure everything was good I noticed it said chicken tacos and I pointed out that my order was wrong. She took my receipt and looked at it and said don’t worry about it you will get what you order. I ask her for my receipt back she then told me to go wait on the side of the restaurant. I waited for 30 minutes only to have a lady come out and demand 1.00 something Because they didn’t charge me correctly. At this point her attitude got to me. I handed her my card and told her charge me because I just wanted to leave at this point. She want inside Charge my card and came back and hand my cards to me a long with two receipts and want back inside 5 minutes later comes out with my food. I go home my food is barely warm Theirs a female hair on one taco. And salsa containers were open and spilled. I will be looking into food safety violation.

I gave this place another chance after the portions kinda were lacking and a cashier was rude and was acting like she didn’t want to be there.I have recently been back twice and the food and portion was on point and the cashier was super friendly but a gentleman brought me my food both times and he was super kind and friendly and if I’m being honest that’s the type of place I want to go and give my business to. Definitely check this place out I give it at the time of this post 4 STARS

So uh, kinda sad to say I was really disappointed. Service was good but not the food. I got a taco dinner and: carnitas were dry (which is sad because they’re my favorite), the pastor and barbacoa we’re both pretty bland and I didn’t like the flavor anyway. I literally just didn’t eat them.
Also got steak nachos and the steak wasn’t the worst, was the best of the other meats, but I’ve had much better. And they use a cheap cheese sauce underneath that isn’t very flavorful.
At least the elote and Jamaica were good but it’s hard to mess that up, haha. Wouldn’t recommend personally.

I never review or comment on anything but this food was absolutely disgusting, i ordered a barbacoa burrito, 3 bites in i instantly threw up. I ordered 2 beef burritos for my friends, they ate half their burritos before throwing up too. I called the restaurant and they hung up twice. Eat next door at los comales or durangos in downtown 1000% better!!

A great spot for Mexican food. Very high quality meals. Always tastes great. Very good soups. You can’t go wrong with this place. Photo is of the steak fajitas. You get plenty of tortillas they don’t short you. Rice is awesome and the beans are authentic. Everything on the menu is worth a try and they always have horchata.

We’ve ordered here a few more times and the food has been good but nothing outstanding. I just think the food needs more flavor and then it would receive a greater review. But overall this is normally our go to Mexican food when we want to treat ourselves.
Always just an okay experience with our food. Yeah their portion sizes are huge, but defeats the purpose when the order isnt right. Today I ordered a burrito with beans, rice, cheese, and sour cream…Never got any sour cream and there was potato and avocado in it?. I’m sorry I didnt ask for those to be in there and therefore I didnt even finish half because not my cup of tea when it comes to a burrito. #dissapointing. My fiance ordered the wet burrito which he said was good, but the man eats anything and everything so sorry. Better luck next time el burrito loco!

Poor customer service and manager unprofessional. They got my order wrong. I ordered nachos locos. They gave it to me with all the other ingredients,dry and no cheese. How is nachos a nachos without cheese ? I called, they wrote my name and apparently they will give me credit. When I went to get my “credit”, the credit that she wrote was for sides. When i explained what happened the Manager insisted and puts words in my mouth that i didnt say. Manager needs to learn how to multi task since she takes drive thru orders and answering complaints.
