The food tasted okay & our waitress was well enough I tipped her $20 but after spending $150 our meal for my husband (who has stage 4 cancer) my son & myself…my son & I both were extremely ill afterwards…and had to go to the ER about 20 minutes after we left, with severe food poisoning.
When I called the next morning to let management know what happened, the so called management…
1st acted like #1 he couldn’t understand me & there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my speech or the call volume.
#2 then he acted as if he couldn’t hear me , he was extremely rude & unprofessional & hung up on me…he was at the very least unconcerned about our being sick from their food or anything else for that matter.
On a side annoying note, prices aren’t on the menu they’re written on a small chalk board half way across the restaurant so they can change it daily.
We had a bowl that included a sloppy mess of 2 lobster tails, 4 crabs ,cabasi bits , shrimp, potatoes, corn on the cob, broccoli & shrimp , Also a side of oysters and a side of gator bites.
We will never eat there again.

Storming Crab in Youngstown is hands-down the best spot for a seafood boil around here! We got the combo with snow crab legs, shrimp, and crawfish in the garlic butter sauce with medium spice—everything was perfectly cooked, juicy, and loaded with flavor.

Here’s the deal. I’m sure their boils are amazing. We simply could not afford it this time around so we went with the fried options. It was okay. Nothing really spectacular although satisfactory. Their menu is not very clear and somewhat misleading with the “doubles” they offer. We could have clarified with the waitress but didn’t a.d were a little disappointed with what we received.
Our hostess seemed very disinterested and told us it would be a thirty minute wait despite the restaurant being half empty. I understand that isn’t her fault and I assume they were short staffed that evening. 45-55 minutes later we were seated. It took a good while to get our food. Our waitress was good but was clearly very busy. She was not able to be very attentive – again, chalking up to being short staffed maybe?
As far as atmosphere, I don’t know. I find the graffiti everywhere to be ugly and honestly an eyesore. I get they are probably trying to make it like a boardwalk but it is just not something I enjoy and gives the inside a dirty feel because of it. That is my opinion and I’m sure lots of people enjoy it.

This was a Great place to have an early Fathers Day dinner! We couldn’t believe the dinner portions! Our server Sarah, was on top of things. She explained that the dinner portions for one are large enough for two, and we agree. What a treat that I’ll never forget. Was definitely worth the Drive from Mentor Ohio.

Food is great as always, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Our kids even love to eat there. They had a nice thing going allowing customers to sign the walls, however that started to get obscene. Glad to see that they’re starting to paint over that stuff, so it’s not much of a concern to take our children there.

As always food was great!! And our waitress was wonderful. Downsides were the drafts were not stocked and when draft was brought I thought it was in a frosted mug. BUT, the glasses were so dirty and didn’t realize till I was done eating. Let’s be honest … you don’t pay attention to anything till you finish eating. . Being in the food industry I was SICK to my stomach to see the glasses like this. Spoke with manager, and of course, he basically blew me off. As we were leaving, saw friends at the bar, and she complained that her wine glad was nasty too. No water, at bar sinks, to even was the glasses properly. Manager said they are run thru dishwasher in back. Come on people do better!!! And you wonder why your bar business isn’t there!!!!!!

Went the other day with friends. Asked for a lemon water, only got water. Asked for lemon a couple more times, still never got it. At one point she even had a bowl of lemon slices in her hands and asked if we ordered that. I said no that I only wanted a single slice of lemon for my water. She said ok, walked off and never came back with it. The crab legs were so over cooked they were almost impossible to crack because they were so flimsy. We all ended up having to take them home and having to use scissors on them. I’ve never been able to take a crab leg with the shell still on and just bend it lol I’m definitely never coming back there lol. For the price you have to pay to eat there they could at least not overcook the food and bring you a slice of lemon. I used to enjoy this place but it has definitely gone downhill.

Love this place! The food is amazing! Its not cheap but that’s because it’s the best! If you want quality you can’t be cheap! Will not only come back…. we go when we want good seafood so once every month or 2…. the old bay garlic butter is soooo good!

Food was great! The crab cakes are excellent but stay away from the raw oysters. They taste like nothing.
