The dining area gives you the feeling the owner has given up, makes you feel bad for the employees. The interior is tired and needs a refresh. Half the tables and chairs are missing. Doesn’t their corporation require owners to do meet certain standards of their brand? The good is ok, but not of expected Bojangles quality, and we have eaten at quite a few locations in our travels for the past 35 years.

Maybe just an off night, bit service was super slow, they didn’t pay attention to the front counter, so everything was a waiting game. They forgot to make my wife’s sandwich and then our sandwiches were not fresh. When you have Dairi-O and Chick-fil-A right around the corner who are attentive and provide great service it’s hard to recommend this Bojangles.

We ordered 2 3-piece supreme combos and a club sandwich meal. The food looked fresh but when I got home I bit into one of the tenders and it was tough and juicy. 20 mins later I’m throwing up and can’t stop. I will not be visiting this location anymore. I don’t know what happened to this place, but it has been on a spiral downwards. I used to brag on them Last 3 orders. I’ve ordered 5 piece combos. Not one time have they gave me 5 strips of chicken? I mean, it’s not cheap. The 1st order was fried burnt 5 nuggets. 2nd time only got 4 pieces of my 5 piece, and fries drenched in salt. Couldn’t eat. This time, got 3 gristle chicken strips and a hard biscuit. Something is wrong here? Stealing?

I ordered the biscuits and gravy combo — unfortunately, the gravy was so watered down that it made the biscuit soggy. I also tried the caramel apple crisp, but the caramel had a strong chemical taste. I wouldn’t recommend either menu item. The saving grace of my visit was the service; the employee was friendly and courteous, which I appreciated.

12/12/2025 around 8:30 or 8:40 I went into Bojangles on University Pkwy in Winston Salem, NC to pick up an order. I stood at the counter while 4 employees walked by me repeatedly and ignored me for 5 to 7 minutes without even acknowledging me. There was 1 other person in line and they finished ordering when I walked in. There was no greeting from any of them. No one said hello, no one asked why I was there, or if I needed help. Then after one of them finally decided to acknowledge me she acted like she hadn’t walked by multiple times and ignored me. I’m not ordering from here again. What kind of training did you go through that you don’t even greet customers.

Disgusting dining room, no clean tables to be found. Floors were covered in trash. My wife says bathrooms were gross. The supervisor was touching food without gloves. Lots of cross contamination. Food was ok kind of rubbery. 3pc Portions were small for 9 bucks like a kids menu. At least the staff was friendly took about 15 minutes and didn’t look short staffed. Go to KFC instead.

Ive been here 6 times in the last 3 weeks. Everytime I order the boberry biscuits I’ve had pull ahead and wait on my order 5 to 9 mins while other people get their orders behind me. So frustrating. For this to be a breakfast item, I dont understand why none is ever made in advance.

It’s been a couple of years since my last visit here, because the service kinda sucked and the place was just nasty..
I stopped in today because the place looks like it’s been re-done since my last visit, except for the broke up parking lot.
Service was awesome. Place was clean inside like new. Food was great. It was like a totally different Bojangles..
