When I first heard of this place I was excited. We ordered three large pizzas with our choice of toppings. Don’t get me wrong, it’s hard to screw up pizza and I’m easy to please. However, the crust was VERY thin for hand-tossed dough, traditional spicing was absent, and even with our toppings, it was very bland. Just poor thought processing on the idea of a large pizza. I feel like we got much less than what we paid for. If I were you, go grab a hot-and-ready from Little Caesars instead as they are cheaper, tastier pizzas.
Giving three stars overall because I can’t speak for the other food choices, but if they were exclusively a pizza joint, they’d get half a star because at least it’s pizza.
So what can be done? They can use dough with avocado or olive oil or beef tallow, increase the volume of dough, throw a little more salt and basil into the sauce, and they may have a winner. Or maybe use Rao’s basil sauce.
I’m not intending to hurt, I’m just someone who is easy to please and their pizza failed that and people deserve to know.
But it IS Bessemer City… Can’t expect any good from there.

My family and I have been coming to Dinos for a very long time. My kids have been going since they were little and it’s one of their favorite places to eat. At Dinos every customer is treated like family. The service is very eficient and after all these years I’ve only had the most caring and welcoming experience. All the food is fantastic, cooked to absolute perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone

We adore the food and the people at Dino’s! We have ordered pizza takeout the last two weekends and it is so fresh and tasty, with the *perfect* crust and toppings. I am a baker but I will gladly pay for their amazing desserts too. Meg is never too busy to chat with me when I stop by. Whether eating there, or ordering take out, we have been happy to give this local family-owned establishment our business over the years.

Dino’s is a great restaurant! I’ve always known they were great, but today they surpassed my expectations. Today is my mom’s birthday. I knew she was going to Dino’s for a birthday lunch, but I was not going to be able to be there. I also knew she was really hoping they’d have a piece of chocolate cake. So I called Dino’s first thing when they opened and made a special request. Rose answered the phone and she was super friendly and helpful. I asked Rose if they had any chocolate cake today and she said they did. I wanted to know if I could pay for some chocolate cake over the phone that they would reserve for my mom when she got there. Rose was happy to help out with my special request, so I actually went ahead and paid for the whole cake over the phone and told Rose they could give away pieces of the cake to their staff or customers, whoever, as long as they reserved one nice, big piece for my mom when she got there. And they did just that! They actually gave my mom (and my dad) three pieces of cake, put a candle in one, and sang Happy Birthday for her. This made my mom so happy, which, of course, makes me happy, too. I’m so grateful to Rose and everyone at Dino’s for honoring my special request. I know times can be tough, but if you’re looking to eat out, please consider supporting your local businesses. And if you are in the area and looking for a place that has great food and exceptional service, look no further than Dino’s. Thank you to Rose and everyone at Dino’s!

We decided to try this place because it had good reviews and people always recommend it. Yeah I dont know what happened but it was not a good experience. Right as one of our plates comes out, there was a hair right on top. My partner lost her appetite immediately. My fettuccine Alfredo was disgusting. I dont know what happened to the sauce but it was bland, tasted like expired milk, and was not edible. I ordered shrimp and chicken with it, which were fine and tasted ok. But man, that sauce… how do you mess that up? I couldn’t finish my plate. Also, playing pop or country music in an Italian restaurant? The only Italian thing was perhaps the decor as it wants to immerse you in Venice. But honestly, it just seems like a low end cracker barrel with an “italian” skin on. Lastly, it’s hard for air to circulate while inside. If a patron who has a noticeable scent is near you, you will unfortunately smell that as it lingers near you. This, of course, is something the restaurant can’t control. But they can mitigate it by having better air circulation.
The staff was friendly and the service was great. But that’s as good as it gets. Given the prices, id rather just go to olive garden. Not going back but I hope it improves.
