Not sure if this is an accurate representation of a normal visit, but we came for a first time visit for the Valentines evening limited menu dinner. Everything looked amazing when it came out,It started with Gorgonzola Stuffed Dates Prosciutto, Fig Gastrique. Some tasted ok while others tasted off. Next two of us had the lobster bisque and our friends had the shrimp cocktail. The lobster bisque was very sour and had 1 piece of of claw, while I was told the shrimp cocktail was good. Main course was 2 NY strip steaks, Chilean sea bass, and chicken Florentino. The sides Au Gratin potatoes, carrots, asparagus, Brussels sprouts. The potatoes were still raw and dried out, carrots and Brussels sprouts were undercooked (hard even) the asparagus i was told was good along with the Bass. Both steaks looked to be cooked perfectly, but were dry and tough. The pasta had no seasoning and the chicken was bland. For dessert chocolate cake and Creme Brulee. The Brulee was more of jello pudding cup flavor and texture and the cake seemed dried out. Our service was good and we all felt bad saying anything because of how busy it was and not to come across of wanting any recompense due to the high price. We may try to go back on a normal day to give it another chance based on this could have been a one time mishap and had high hopes.

We had such a wonderful experience here tonight! I started with the cucumber spritz, which was light, fresh, and perfectly balanced. We also shared the tuna tartare, which was super flavorful and beautifully presented.

For my entrée, I ordered the lamb chops, which were cooked perfectly and paired with delicious potatoes and a flavorful sauce. Everything was amazing, but the true standout was the seven-layer chocolate cake. It was absolutely divine and one of the best desserts I’ve ever had.

The team was also kind enough to surprise us with a complimentary white wine flight, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, excellent food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The steaks are 100% the highlight – we had a NY strip and it was flawless. It is served alone, so the plating is not the best, but the meat was cooked perfectly and had fantastic flavor. We had 2 cocktails that were also delicious. The rest seemed to be hit or miss… the crab cake mushrooms were great, but the mussels were sour and tasted off. I had a bowl of the wagyu pasta and it didn’t have much flavor besides the ground beef and noodles (needed more acidity/tomatoes). We were given a crème brûlée that was not properly crystallized.

Our service was wonderful – the hostess was kind, our waitress was attentive. We had silverware replaced at each stage of the meal, plates were bussed quickly, and the table was wiped down often.

The atmosphere was also nice. Halcyon is a beautiful area, and the restaurant has moody/cozy lighting with comfortable seating.

I’d go again, but would definitely stick to the basics here with steak/sides.

First time at Cattle Shed was a 5 star experience! Our server, Maja, was super attentive and informative and the manager, Alexis, checked in on our party of 8 several times throughout the evening. Would absolutely recommend this dining experience to anyone looking for a special night out!

I went for my birthday with friends, and the service from our server was extremely disappointing. She rushed us the moment we sat down, spoke only about what she wanted, and placed the utensils on the table in a careless, almost disrespectful way.

When I changed my wine, she looked annoyed about switching the glass and even tried to mix the wines without saying a word. I had to stop her multiple times. Her attitude and tone were far from friendly.

The food and atmosphere were nice, but her behavior completely ruined the experience for us.

Food was hot service was cold. Our waitress not sure of her name she sounded Russian from what words we heard. But never heard a your welcome or anything pleasant from her it was straight forward no emotion type of service. We came for wife’s bday and made reservations as such but it felt like a regular day. Nothing special. But food and steaks were on point so and thats what mainly matters. We would go back as long as we got a different server. The gold fashioned was good and I drank gold for first time so thats cool. Ambience was a little noisy for the size.

The great:
– Kansas City Strip – 5 out of 5, no notes
– Gold Fashioned – again, elite
– Bread service – delicious

The good:
– Wedge salad – ample bacon bits, good flavor. No homemade ranch dressing though, which was a bummer
– Mezcalita (El Guapo)

The mid:
– Truffle fries – not home made, left something to be desired, though ample portion
– French onion soup – just okay; not special
– Atmosphere- just not elite. Felt like much of the decoration was from TJ Maxx

My husband and I decided to go out to Alpharetta (We live by Airport) for dinner and try something new. We saw this area and figured we would choose one there which restaurant.

Cattle Shed was very appealing from the outside and happened to be offering Happy Hour Specials so we thought, “WHY NOT”. We will have drinks appetizers and move on.

We could not have made a better choice!

We ordered the Happy Hour Mussels , Wagyu Meatvalls, Chef Choice of Steak Kabobs! The flavor was AMAZINGGGGGG! My only disappointment was that sone of the mussels were empty or not edible(shell closed), but the sauce was so amazing, I DIDNT EVEN CARE!

You have to ask for the bread service but it’s worth it!

After appetizers, we decided let’s just stay for dinner! Another great choice! He ordered the specail Shrimp Pomodora Pasta (Chefs Speciall and I had the Bone Pork Chop with their specialty Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. SIMPLY AMAZING!! I could have gone for the temp on my porkchops to be well, since most restaurants overcooked, I chose Medium Well to not be dry and they cooked it to perfection! Their house steak sauce was very jazzy and saucy and I wanted a to go container to the some home!

To our surprise they brought out a complimentary dessert for my husband. Creme Brulee, chefs kiss to that too!

Nothing about this place DISSAPPOINTS!!!!!

The staff was the most exciting about this, everyone worked together and checked on us so much! The GM Niko, friendly and as professional as they come! Our server Jennifer was extra special and even more special was their hospitality person Toseima! So friendly yet so hospitable! To top it all off, I got to meet one of my favorite TV CHEFS that is the head chef (which explains why the food was AMAZING) Olivia Hurst! What an end to an amazing experience. She took the time to come out of the kitchen, listen to my story of her inspiration in my current career and was intentional!

YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!

We come here most weekends, especially for Sunday lunch, and absolutely love everything about this place.

The food is consistently delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor every single time. Whether we stick with our favorites or try something new, it never disappoints.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and we are always greeted with genuine enthusiasm the moment we walk in. Alexis is consistently upbeat, positive, and completely on point! She sets the tone every single time and makes us feel so welcome. Cale (also always upbeat), Jennifer and the crew know exactly what we like and what we want, often before we even say it. That kind of attentiveness and personal touch is rare and so appreciated.

It’s more than just great food, it’s the people who make it special! We are so grateful to have this as our go-to spot and look forward to our Sundays here every week!

We heard about the restaurant and came over from Duluth. What an amazing find! Beautiful, contemporary decor and a thoughtfully curated menu. The Waldorf Caesar salad was a tastefully concerted salad. We have been twice now and everything has been tasty. Couple that with great, friendly staff and it is a great dining experience. And finally the chef has a real talent for creating tasty dishes that are different from other restaurants. All at what is very reasonable prices for the experience. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.
