I celebrated my 50th Birthday at Sobe, and from start to finish the experience was wonderful. I had a party of 17, and the team was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. Our host seemed new and a little unfamiliar with a few things, but still did a good job and took great care of us overall.
The band was the highlight of the evening—they truly made my night! To my surprise, they serenaded me with a personal birthday song, and later brought me on stage to dance the night away alongside another birthday guest. It was unforgettable.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the entire night felt special. Thank you, Sobe, for making my 50th birthday so memorable!

Overall, the restaurant venue was very posh! I got the Lobster & French toast, which tasted yummy. The Lobster wasn’t as juicy as I was expecting. My date got the fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, & greens. They said it could’ve used some more seasoning. They requested salt & pepper for the table, which helped a little. The service was attentive & quick.

My family and I went to SoBe for my Uncle’s Birthday and it was absolutely wonderful. The inside is a vibe and the service was overall positive. They waited for our whole party to arrive before taking our food orders which was considerate. Some examples of what was ordered:
– very delicious, wish they were bigger
– least flavorful, especially coming from the east coast
– hands down the best app ordered, fall off the bone and yummy sauce
– salmon wasn’t overcooked, very delicious pasta, filling main course
If you’re ever in the area, I’d definitely say experience SoBe!

This is such a great place to have a birthday dinner. The management team was very accommodating to our set up 30 min prior and provided pre-printed menu (i would recommend they take the price off because since it’s one check/bill, we added tax+ gratuity to the cost which was higher then the advertised $55 on the paper). We opt’d for name seating cards as people came in different times and we wanted to put certain groups of friends together. The food was good — everyone loved their menu selection (with exception to those who had the salmon). The best part of the venue was the live band, which upgraded the birthday celebration vibe and gave birthday gift shout-outs to the birthday girl from time to time.

I decided to check out this place because I had heard good things about it. However, the moment I walked through the door, I was charged a $30 cover fee per person, which I accepted because I was interested in trying it out.
As soon as I entered, I encountered two hostesses at the front who had a terrible attitude. I’m not sure if they were having a bad day, but it was off-putting.
I had to step outside, because I forgot my card, and I was informed that they don’t accept Apple Pay. There’s was a strict no re-entry policy fee to come back in
Once I sat down at my table, the server was okay, but seemed unfamiliar with the menu. So I just decided to order a crab sandwich, but unfortunately, the bun came out burnt.
To make matters worse, security personnel wearing kitchen gloves walked around my table repeatedly—about twelve times in total.
Also, there were numerous extra fees that I didn’t anticipate. Please see the photos for more details.
, I will not be returning to this place. No way.

I think this place is sexy, casual cute. I always love coming here. The DJ plays good music, they got good food, and strong drinks! I especially love the Happy hour. The outdoor patio is great for hookah lovers or cigar aficionados. The service is a bit slow especially on the drinks. But all in all a good time.
I will totally be back.

This was my second time here. The place looks really nice however the bartender was not friendly and did not provide good service. We spent $50 but totally was ready to spend a lot more but there was no vibe. The tvs kept buffing as wel tried to watch the game and they charged service fee and Gratuity. I drink shots and they charged me for the chaser. I was trying to remember why I did not come back the first time. Now I know. Don’t run away people who ready to spend money. We both are foodies and drinkers. The bartender took a long time to serving us.

A change of pace from dining in DC. Went here yesterday evening. I did see lots of reviews about poor service, but the experience I had with our server Justice was great. She was sweet, attentive and professional. There was a DJ that gave us everything from old school R&B, hip hop a little trap music and some Go-go. I had the Braised Oxtails which came with canbage, plantains and rice beans. The oxtails were flavorful and fell off the bone. Overall, if you’re looking for a local spot for vibes in PG county for the grown folk, this could be it.
