Wow this was a hidden gem ! Some of my friends suggested this. .. Google maps takes you to a parking within the building which is about 7$ I think ‘.. we tried to go around looking for parking outside and a block away but nothing was available . Parking is the major headache with this restaurant.
Service was awesome . Quick billing and very quick service .. loved the ambience inside and outside too. So many tables inside and outside to sit and eat . We chose a table outside . Was a bit noisy but was good . They also serve beers and it was good .
Food is just super awesome here . I like the concept of single servings and also a like a lunch box with a combo offer . Price wise it was really not that expensive . We got a mix and match of tacos and mostly all were good . Beer battered cauliflower . Nashville hot tofu , fried paneer – all 3 were awesome but my personal fav was Nashville hot tofu .. their sauces are also good . Wanted to give. A 4 star but this place deserves a 5 star – value for money and food taste ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An easy 5 stars for this location! I’ve never had a taco—or a slice of red velvet cake—I didn’t enjoy here! The Spicy Tikka and Chicken Waffle tacos are tied as my all-time favorites. The Kick Ass Margarita is already good, but add the Grand Marnier floater and thank me later!
Heads up…the lines can get long, but trust me—they’re long because of the tacos. The manager clearly takes care of the team, and it shows in the great service and how efficiently they keep those lines moving.
Fair warning….you will blow your calorie budget in a single meal. But honestly? There’s no better place to do it. Choose your cheat days wisely.

Chicken and waffle tacooooo so good got it twice on the night out. Good with and without the gravy! Friends got the shrimp taco and carne asada and loved them, ordered more while we were eating. Went the weekend of Halloween, so it was packed, but fast service nonetheless. Will be back! 10/10

.: I had an amazing experience thanks to the manager at this location. I NEVER write reviews but my experience was so good I just had to. Jay ( I hope I’m getting her name right) the manager went above and beyond to make sure me and my guests left happy and on top of that she was so freaking sweet!! I’m from Seattle and I complain about the lack of customer service in ATL all the time! Jay did NOT disappoint. I’ll be back for sure! Hopefully Jay is working so I can say Hi! And thank you! :.

Let me start by saying the food here is a 10/10. Some the best tacos I’ve ever had with such unique flavors and presentation. I only had to take stars away due to how dirty the location was. There was trash everywhere and the tables were sticky and covered in unknown liquids. The door was extremely difficult to open but they had an employee start opening the door for folks once they found out. I’m very happy to return but the cleaning needs to be fixed.

Where should I begin? Let’s start with, this was our 1st time there. There are signs that state “Entrance”. However, the “entrance” doors were locked. We find the entrance and then we stood in line. There was a gentleman that was “cleaning” (literally walking around with a towel in hand talking on his phone). As we are still waiting, one of the gentlemen behind the counter asked him to come take orders. He sauntered over to the register. The person that was next in line was waiting for him to say something. He didn’t say anything but he gestured as though to say, are you going to order? I mean most places will say, may I help you. When we were finally able to order I decided not to eat. However, my 2 friends ordered. He wasn’t very friendly. And he didn’t seem to know how to count change. The change was .55 cent but he pulled out dollar bills. When he finally got it together he gave her all nickels. We then waited for our food. They called for the orders and walked away. Thankfully the the receipt was on one of the orders. Because we didn’t know the other person that ordered. We then went to sit and most of the tables were dirty. I hope this is not how they typically do business. It has left me with no desire to prove this experience wrong. My friends thought the food was a 5 out of 10. So that definitely didn’t make the bad customer service worth it. The location is ideal, the graffiti was cool and the sign at the trash can was funny. That’s what gives it 2 stars.

Visited this Velvet Taco location today and we had a great experience! Crystal greeted us promptly with a smile and was very patient and helpful with all our ordering questions. She constantly kept busy, taking orders and even wiping tables when needed. She is awesome! Our tacos and sides were fresh and delicious! We would absolutely recommend this place. They exceeded our expectations!

From the delicious tacos that combine cultural flavors and therefore taste experiences to the align energy to the fabulous service, my kids and I love coming to Velvet Taco. Their favorite is the chicken and waffle taco–the “shell” is a waffle–and mine is the slow roasted brisket which has a cheese encrusted shell. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
