We had a fantastic experience here. We were traveling home from a fishing trip in Cherokee and decided to stop in Asheville for dinner. We don’t have any good seafood in our hometown of Lenoir. We got a calamari appetizer, my entree was Dungeness crab, and my husband’s was Dungeness, clam, and crawdads. My husband loved the du jour sauce! I played it safer with plain garlic butter. We both got mild spice. Our server was great, receipt said Nasion. And, the food came out quickly despite it being a busy Saturday evening. We absolutely loved it! Wish we lived closer to be regulars!

Today was our first experience at this restaurant and we had a nice time. The food was very fresh, good flavor. I would just add that you let the catfish cook just a little more, but everything tasted great. Drew, our waitress was wonderful as well. We will visit again.

Crab Du Jour was AMAZING. The seafood boil was packed with flavor perfectly seasoned, rich, and buttery without being overpowering. The crab legs were meaty and easy to crack, the shrimp were juicy, and the lobster was tender and cooked just right. The potatoes, corn, and sausage soaked up all the seasoning and tasted incredible. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. Portions were generous and absolutely worth it. This was hands-down one of the best seafood boils I’ve had, and I’m already thinking about coming back.

We have been 3 times. The food is good. The service has always been good. It’s a bit expensive for lunch or dinner. Only one cluster in the boil but I’m told it’s good. I had the fish and fries they were good. Always good about keeping your drink topped and checking on you. This is a special occasion place for us.

This is a unique place in that they do what they dowjch is serve steamed seafood. The only have two options you ether buy a pound of steamed seafood served with two red poiotoes and half ear of corn all steam, or you can have two choices of of 1/2 pound. Do you have to purchase a pound of seafood. No exceptions! They serve alcoholic, an non beverages. Not sure if they have any deserts, but don’t thank so. Your food comes to in a steambag too your table with a pan to poor it in, and eat out of with gloves and a bibb.

Came here for Mother’s Day dinner and had a fantastic experience. Got combos A and B, with Du Jour sauce and Old Bay (sauce style). Both were fantastic but Du Jour was my favorite (Cajun, Garlic Butter, Lemon Pepper mix).
The restaurant gave all the mothers roses to take home, which was a wonderful touch!
Our server Drew was fantastic – she was very attentive and frequently came by to check in on us. Near the end of her shift she brought her baby by to say hi (it’s Mother’s Day after all!) and our babies got to mingle and babble at each other. We stayed until closing and she never rushed us or anything (we were trying to eat as fast as we could regardless).
Would recommend if looking for a seafood boil in Asheville!

I wanted to try this place for a while. I got take out there tonight. I got the crab Rangoon and the coconut shrimp. Both were equally terrible. The crab Rangoon I don’t believe had anything in it but a small amount of cream cheese.
It wasn’t crispy, and had very little flavor.
The coconut shrimp was just breaded fried shrimp in some thick sugary coconut flavored white sauce. Absolute garbage. This place is the McDonalds of seafood. I will definitely not be back.

Cajun style crab boil seafood and fried seafood platters. This was straight up delicious. More than we could eat! Our server Jaylen was awesome and attentive. The food was off the chain good. It’s messy in the best way. Dripping with buttery spicy garlic sauce. Best boil I have had in a while. Perfect spot to get your grub on .

My boyfriend decided to take me here since was curious about seafood boil. I will say, as someone who’s not huge on seafood, I really enjoyed the food! The sauces were so flavorful and the portions are large! They also offer other items on menu if you aren’t a fan of seafood. I recommend the chicken burger sliders & clam chowder! The portions are big enough for me to just have one of those as my meal! The servers are also super sweet and attentive! 10/10 Would come back again! 🙂
