Waiter was rude, curt and abrupt, completely ignored us and food service was very slow. Bread was brought to the table, it was barely warm, with no flavor or taste, no crunchy edge, accompanied by only two institutional, cafeteria type butter packets which were cold and rock hard, so impossible to spread on the bread. We started with an Old Fashion which had barely any alcohol in it for $18 each. We had the lunch special which consisted of an appetizer and an entree. Appetizer for me was the Bruschetta Pomodora which was served over unheated, regular, non-toasted or even crisp bread with a a very basic, flavorless, tomato topping. Entree for me was the mini paella and mini is definitely the correct description, see picture. In the picture compare the size of the standard spoon with the seafood and plate size, tiny portions. There were two clams that were smaller than a dime each (about the size of my fingernail), two very small shrimp which would be classified in the 50-60 per pound size range, three of the smallest mussels they could possibly purchase (look at the size of the mussel compared to a slice of a cherry tomato it is on top of), two pieces of rubbery calamari, all over top of a very sticky, gummy bed of rice. Wife had soup of the day which was lentil soup. The lentil soup bowl which was a decent size was only filled about one third of the way so there was very little and she said it was bland. Her entree was the spaghetti and meatballs. Spaghetti was also gummy, meatballs were rubbery and tasteless. She didn’t even finish her meal, I left the gummy rice, we paid the bill and left. Overall the worst place we could have gone. Not sure who eats here and give this place more than 1 star. I would never go back again and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Try La Mela down the street or anywhere else.

I had such a great experience here !
Omar and Daniel were phenomenal and made sure that we were beyond comfortable when we visited this restaurant on a very busy day.
The food and drinks were great and it was surprisingly cheap to be in little Italy! Go check them out and Ask for Daniel or Omar

Quick lil trip to NYC… Went in for a quick lunch while shopping on Canal St. And it was delicious. I had a Strawberry sangria with the Lentil Soup, spaghetti and meatball. Bae had mozzi caprises salad ,Seafood plate and a blue sangria.
Drinks were very nice and the good was super tasty as expected.

I’m going to venture out on a limb and say that the good reviews on here are from people who don’t get out much. To begin with, not a good sign when you’re being begged to come into a restaurant, but we were starving on a Saturday night and figured it can’t be that bad. It was. I’ve never had bread that didn’t taste like bread. Tasted like hard plastic. The food was edible, but more akin to cafeteria food than anything actually Italian. Avoid at all costs.

Went here for San Generro festival. They had a sign out front that advertised $10 aperol spritz. So, we went in and got 2 Togo. We got the bill and they said it was $16 each… I said well the sign out front says $10 each. Bartender claims that doesn’t start until 6pm and for the outside bar that didn’t even exist. What a joke, they blamed the owner for false advertising. Get a clue guys! See photo of sign. Do not go here for the fake special drink prices.

We had a beautiful experience at this resturant. We stumbled upon it while walking through little Italy, and had the best authentic Italian food I’ve had in my life. 100% would recommend to stop by here if you get the chance! They also have 5$ sangria happy hours .
