Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

What an absolute joke of a ‘fast food’ establishment. Calling the service here ‘slow’ would be a compliment; it is practically glacial. I’ve waited less time for a three-course meal at a sit-down restaurant than I did for a simple burger and fries here. To make matters worse, the place wasn’t even busy. The staff seems to treat the workspace like a social club, standing around chatting and ignoring the drive-thru line that’s backing up into the street.
When the food finally did arrive, it was a massive disappointment. The burger was lukewarm and looked like it had been haphazardly thrown together by someone who couldn’t care less. The patty was dry, the bun was cold, and the ‘jumbo’ fries were a greasy, limp mess. It’s clear that since the corporate buyout, the quality has plummeted while the prices continue to climb.
It is insulting to pay these prices for food that is served cold and late by a staff that clearly doesn’t want to be there. In a town with plenty of other options, there is no reason to subject yourself to this level of incompetence. I’m done with this location—do yourself a favor and keep driving past this disaster

What burger is a very rare stop for me. I’ll get a burger from there every 5 years or so to remind myself why I don’t go there more often. The staff was friendly and cordial, however i ended up with a cold burger and bun. The same as last time if I remember correctly. I did the drive through, so did not turn around and go back after I but into the cold burger. See y’all in 5 years or so….

They did a remodel, but they forgot to retrain their employees. Everybody’s just bringing their food in from drive-through wrong order after the wrong order. DoorDash are sitting around waiting for their order is 15 mins or more. People are not happy.. and they didn’t even put seating in with all the new space they have for people to wait. I’ve been sitting here waiting over 30 minutes.. and they’re not even busy

We do not have a Whataburger in our neck of the woods in the Smoky mountains of Tennessee yet, but we hear that one is coming to Sevierville soon, so we will frequent it, the cheese burger, jalapeno. Cheeseburger was delicious.

I was helped by a manager named Mrs. Kellie. She went over and beyond to make sure my food was perfect. Not only that, but her warm personality was a welcoming sight. Not many restaurants have people like this. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Went after a long day with a family friend because we were STARVING and had a great time. Having Tim take our order through the drive thru was absolutely amazing. He put us both in a great mood and we couldn’t help but giggle because he was so joyful. The food was hot and fresh and definitely hit the spot. Everybody be more like Tim!!!

This restaurant is especially notable for not only the quality of food, but for the staff members who consistently go above and beyond standards to please customers and create a welcoming atmosphere. Not many fast food places make me feel like family, but this one does.
