Quick service. Typical downtown place small tight place, no stroller allowed. Only service animals allowed. Seating insides the restaurant is capped at 45 mins. Fast moving restaurants. Groups/parties can only be seated after your order is placed.
Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or simply a ramen lover looking to try something new, this place is a must-visit. It’s proof that plant-based food can be bold, comforting, and deeply satisfying. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu! spiced to perfection.
We waited about 45 minutes outside before ordering. At REDWHITE, you order at the counter first and then grab a table once one opens up. Tables are limited to 45 minutes, which made sense because the turnover was constant — as soon as one table cleared, someone who had just ordered took it. Even when we left, there was still a line.
I ordered the No. 9Truffle Salt, my boyfriend got the No. 5, and we shared the Roasted Miso Avocado roll. After ordering, we waited about another 10 minutes for our food.
The bowls were very different from each other, with different broths and noodles, though both included tofu. I didn’t mind it, but my boyfriend wasn’t a fan.
Overall, I did enjoy my ramen, though it’s definitely an acquired taste. That said, I’m not sure l’d wait over an hour again for this dish alone, but it was still a fun experience.
The cozy basement atmosphere was perfect for a cold night. Shoutout to the staff as well – they were clearly working incredibly hard to keep everything running smoothly, especially the guy who was single-handedly bussing tables and keeping the flow moving.
All in all, a fun experience with high-quality food, even if the flavors didn’t fully click for us.
It’s a first come first serve basis. There is usually a wait time here. We tried this place once around 6.30 PM and at around 8.00PM. Both the times, we waited for about 20mins.
We tried the sweet chilli taco roll (solid and tasty), the truffle salt ramen, garlic miso, and the red hot miso. Every single bowl hit the mark — bold flavours, great depth, nothing bland or watered down. Overall, totally worth the wait and a must-visit if you’re into good ramen, especially plant-based options.
Thank you to the owner for responding. We look forward to patronizing your establishment again soon.

The food was ramen and soup. It was pretty good and solid but a bit plain. Pretty solid though and most people would like it. Also vegan.
Service:
There was a line but it moved very quickly. You get a limit of 45 minutes in the restaurant else you get kicked out. You might have you wait up to 10 minutes to sit. Food is made in around 10 minutes.
Atmosphere:
The restaurant was very nice and I enjoyed how it felt. Also warm.
If you can’t use chopsticks, they’re generous enough to offer you forks.
We ordered two ramen bowls. The No. 5 Yuzu sesame ramen had a delicious broth that combined well with the yuzu, garlic oil and sesame. The fresh corn, arugula, and sprouts balanced out the fried onions and soboro (soy meat and tofu). The No. 7 Japanese curry ramen used similar toppings to the No. 5, except for the light, subtle curry flavoring in the broth.
For sushi, we had the spicy roasted miso avocado roll. The topping of sesame seeds, onion chips, chili oil, and miso was tasty on the avocado, but the rice seemed a bit mushy/dense, which slightly impacted the texture.
The overall experience was positive, though the counter service felt strictly standard. Given the rainy, cool evening and that it was close to closing time, the kitchen felt a little off its game. I wish the staff had shared a bit more about the food sources and preparation methods.
Overall, a great place for grabbing a hearty bowl of vegetarian ramen and a sushi roll.
