I just want to point out that the people working there have trouble being efficient when things get busy. There have been a few times where my food and drink was made wrong and a few times where it takes too long. This critique should be taken with a grain of salt & I work at a restaurant as well.

Consistently the worst Sonic in the area. Chances of getting the order right aren’t good. Unnecessarily rude at times. Frequently not accepting mobile orders. Always understaffed and insanely slow. Sonic corporate listen up this location desperately needs a new franchise operator. It’s hurting the brand.

Food is always good and the employees are always nice, but the service is incredibly slow. Like 15+ minutes in the drive through slow.
Edit: this is hands down the slowest restaurant I have egg we been to. You’d get served faster at a sit down restaurant than this FAST food restaurant.

I don’t think it could be any worse if they tried. The tater tots was over salted so bad. I only ate one and threw the rest away. We ordered over $30 in food and had to throw half of it away. The old saying is never say never but I promise this family will never eat their cheap “expensive”garbage food again. If you can’t even make tater tots properly, we don’t trust you with anything else in the bag.

Got there and order a shake and nothing else. 20 minutes later, after I reminded them and got told “were going as fast as we can” (after multiple cars left that got there after me) they brought out my liquid shake that tasted like bleach. This is the BEST sonic that I have been to yet! They are the ONLY sonic that has made my lemonberry slush float PERIOD the ONLY one can you believe that?! And their are like 50 from between here and where I live I live way out of town the food was great the service was fast the food was on point the staff was friendly they were attentive and accommodating this is the best sonic! They should be recognized for their outstanding hard work and I hope that they are and they do! Thank you guys for everything!

Ordered a drink with sweet cream lime and coconut (dirty) only got lime in it then tried to order a brioche with zesty cheese and she kept telling me they didn’t have it even though I work at the Ozark sonic and many people get it , it’s a known sauce they have it it’s just ridiculous I pay for these add ins and never get them anytime I get a drink they never put all the add ins in the drink this sonic SUCKSSS

The food is good but almost every time we order here they get something wrong like missing bacon or getting a double burger when we’ve ordered a triple burger worse even when we get a remake sometimes that’s wrong and we end up throwing our hands up because like I said the food is good just annoying to pay extra for bacon or a thicker burger and receiving the wrong thing and having to wait longer to get what we payed for

This will be the last time I visit the sonic in Nixa. Just as most other restaurants in Nixa, service, choice, and quality is just lacking. I said I wouldn’t come back after my last visit, but some time went by and I thought I’ll give them one last try. Low and behold once again, my order was wrong. After getting home, I found out my wife’s tea tasted old and like there was a hint of bleach in it. Not kidding. The main part, I ordered a # 2 (double), and got what appeared to be a Jr. Cheeseburger, but paid for a Supersonic double, same as my previous experience. Also, the fries were cold and tasted like they had been dropped in grease twice.
I hate leaving bad reviews bc you know these seem like first world problems, but I grow weary with half a** service especially when I was the only other car in the drive through. I work hard for my money. The nickle and diming with the constant mess ups from lack of attention these days adds up. I find it redidulous I am constantly experiencing these simple fix issues. Pay attention, it’s your job. Do better.
I know the answer I will receive back will be please escalate this issue with the local manager. Apparently that’s not working from the reviews.

Ordered a brioche bacon sandwich. I’ve ordered these before and they’re generally delicious. Not so much this time. As you can see from the picture the bacon was BLACK. How any person serving food thought this was appropriate is beyond me. I couldn’t even eat it without the bacon because the egg and bun tasted like burnt bacon grease.
