Great for late evening. Got there about 9:45pm after finishing an onsite project in Mt. Pleasant with my wife. We had a large lunch, but after work she was thinking Margaritas. Once we arrived, she decided to just go with water, so we order shredded chicken nachos and a beer for me. The plate was HUUGE (as the menu said, not exaggerating for once). Fresh chips and ingredience of lettuce, olives, jalapenos, queso; the usual). We couldn’t finish, but gave it our best reasonable effort. The bar area was open with what looked like a dining area unoccupied, so we sat up front with a lively group fo patron and a 4 piece band (GTR, BAS, KIT & Sax). Room acoustic were live so the band was too loud for much conversation. But, they played well and I enjoyed them.
We lived in the Charleston area for 30 years and never went to any of the Juanita Greenberg locations. Had to move away and come back for business to find an enjoyable night spot with great nachos. I may come back just for that.

Overall experience was woefully less than average, this restaurant is basically just a sports bar with underwhelming “Mexican” food. Taco plate was ok, but the rice was undercooked and beans were burned (neither were very edible). Queso is overpriced and ok at best. Their slogan says “fresh food made fast”, but many of the components clearly came straight off a Sysco truck, bland, too salty, and overall bad. Beer was cold, so I guess that’s a plus. Would not recommend eating here, fine for sports and just drinks. Also the “support fee” is a credit card fee, not anything that helps the staff. Our server was very kind and make the experience better than it would have been otherwise.

I am not normally the type of person to write Google reviews, but our experience here was so bad I felt compelled to inform the poor, lost souls who find themselves hungry enough to walk though the doors to this underwhelming establishment of the dangers that lay ahead. Beans: too salty and tasted of acrid burnt flavor. Rice: undercooked, bland. Proteins: clearly came from a microwaveable package with minimal preparation and seasoning. Chips and queso: way overpriced for the quality of both the dish’s constituents. The only positive point of the meal I can say was that the beer was at least cold. Our server was also kind enough to inform us that the extra fee on our bill titled “support fee” was actually a credit card fee and in no way shape or form went to staff members. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for anything more than just a beer and a place to watch the game. If you’re looking for something more, try a different establishment.

As a local 13 year old, I go here every single Thursday for their trivia night. It’s the best! Everyone is so kind and welcoming, and truly is great. If you get Jade as your server, you are in for a treat! She is just the best, understands when to be more family friendly or not, and remembers your orders! Go Jade! I truly don’t understand why there is a single one star review mentioning “racism”. I have gone there for almost a year at this point, and I have never seen a SINGLE incident. I would say that it is a local spot, so if you are a local of Mt. Pleasant or the surrounding areas, you gotta come here. I promise, what you are reading is the truth! The only critique I have is that the bathrooms could be a little cleaner, but that’s fine. Also, the murals all over the wall are so detailed and amazing! Is a six star review possible?

This place offers an interesting take on ordinary Mexican food. We ordered a bunch of tacos and nachos and all are plates were delicious. The crispy tacos were definitely a hit for us. The drinks, however are average. The prickly pear flavor was certainly missing but overall it tasted good.

Enjoyed my meal tremendously and the drinks!! Very laid back. They have a game room with pool table, video games and maybe music. That area is upstairs. Seating is open or at the bar.

We were walking along Coleman Blvd. and had no plans to eat out, but when you see a sign for a restaurant that sounds like it comes straight out of a Quentin Tarantino movie, you have to try it!
It has a few outdoor tables and is rather big inside, and basically a huge bar. Lots of people there for drinks. We got a huge nachos to split. It was tasty but the chorizo on it (our choice) was WAY too salty. We’re also not huge fans of queso instead of melted real cheese, which seems to be the overwhelmingly popular choice around here. Quesadilla was very large and pretty good.
Margaritas were good and service was just fine.

We were in town for an event, and a bunch of us decided to go to Juanita’s for dinner. On what probably would have normally been a slow Monday night, we had the restaurant packed. There was only one server, but she was a champ. She did a great job. I had tacos for dinner, but the real star was the nachos. The portions were huge, and no one that ordered them was able to finish them on their own.
