R SWEET LIFE
Western omelette, hashbrowns, and toast and biscuits and gravy and iced tea. Perfect big breakfast. Waitress was nice and kind. Food was excellent. We are in Quartzsite till mid March so I’ll be going back. Then I’ll try their Mexican food.

We were really looking forward to eating here because we love Mexican food and had been dry camping out for a bit where there were not much services. And this restaurant seems to have a lot of good reviews )which I’m not sure why now). What a disappointment. First of all… have NEVER in our entire lives been to any Mexican restaurant in any state we’ve traveled where you did not get FREE chips and salsa. Had to pay the five dollars for those after we had waited for some time after we ordered and nothing came out. So I asked. Bit the bullet and bought them. The salsa was really good but again, dumbfounded that it was not provided complimentary.
Anyways, we ordered two entrées. The chicken chimichanga. And a combo plate with a chili relleno and a beef enchilada. The portions were soooooo lacking it looked like the food on the already small plate had been shoved around to make it look like the plate was full. My husband said his chicken chimichanga had mostly beans in it and not much chicken. The food was very ordinary. Nothing to write home about. The chili relleno was very soggy & didn’t have much cheese filling either. Refried beans seemed like what you get from a can. They gave you three sauce options, which was kind of odd. Considering they wouldn’t even offer up any salsa and chips. Seems like a waste of money to provide those. Overall, everything, but the salsa, was just lacking any real flavor or finesse. The prices were some of the highest we’ve ever paid for Mexican food. $4 for a soda! $17.50 for two item combo. Our waitress was very attentive. She was dealing with several customers, although the place was not very busy at all. Another table was complaining that their food was not done correctly as far as the Mexican food they ordered nor the fried fish they got, so I guess it wasn’t just us that didn’t think it was great. All in all, I would say save your money. We spent $50 and I know for a fact I could’ve made something much better at home. We would not stop again.

We stopped to eat a early dinner at Taco Mio. The service was amazing and food was the perfect portion. The restaurant is clean and had a cute vibe. The enchilada sauce was really good and bloody Mary’s too. We will stop here again for sure !!!

While staying in Quartzsite for the snowbird season. We made a stop here. So glad we did. Server was the sweetest young lady , very attentive. Food was excellent. I got the Carnitas and hubby got the beef enchiladas both came with rice and beans. Served quick and hot. Omg so much on the plate could barely finish. Everything was delicious. I’m mexican by heritage and this was as authentic as it gets. Great job Taco Mio. We will definitely come back. Prices are capable with other restaurants.

From someone raised on Mexican food this place is top notch! I’ve been here many times and expect to be back many more throughout our winter stay here. I had Delicious soft shredded beef enchiladas and the sauce is spicy and tasty! Beans and rice are superb. Everyone with me at the table loved their food. ❤️ Server was busy but took care of us. Kudos to the cooks!

Taco Mio is an absolute gem in Quartzsite! The food is consistently delicious, and you can tell everything is made with care. What really sets this place apart is the service, every time we eat here, the owner personally comes out to say hello, which makes you feel truly welcome. The waitress is wonderful, friendly, and attentive, adding to the great experience. I highly recommend Taco Mio, it’s a must-try whenever you’re in Quartzsite, AZ!

This used to be the best Mexican place in town. I’m not sure what happened, the menu has changed and someone different is cooking now. Say goodbye to what it used to be because that is done. Whoever is giving this place good reviews recently must have came in really stupid hungry because what they are serving is school cafeteria food at best. Plus it’s the only Mexican place I’ve been to that doesn’t give complimentary chips and salsa.
I get that Quartzsite forces you to lower your standards when it comes to eating here, but no. Just no.

Waited 30 minutes and no food came out, ordered a two taco plate and was dining alone. 3 waitresses and 1 cook. After someone finally asked if I was gonna order I had to leave. The salsa was good with the chips, but I guess I will never know how the beans and meat are. Would not try again.

Was in town for the rock and mineral show and went there for dinner. Spent over $120 for 4 people with tip. Two rounds of beers, 3 dinners, one meal was just a Taco. TERRIBLE service, it was busy but had to stack our own plates because they never came to the table, never got water. Had to flag down other servers to get chips and salsa. Just a bad place and the food was not good. Dry burrito Supreme, no sauce, lettuce tomato or cheese and was almost 20 bucks.
NEVER EAT HERE!!

We went on the locals’ recommendation. Always trust the locals. We had the chicken chimichangas. $16.50
Wow! Food was great. Our waitress was amazing. She had the ability to remember everyone’s order, in the whole place. Very cute. You could eat outside if you want. Also, they serve breakfast. Go!
