i’ve been to this Denny’s a couple times now and they have always treated us so well. it does get busy and sometimes they have slow moments/forget a sauce, but they are working hard here and provide kindness and hospitality that you don’t find everywhere. it really has a homey vibe, it’s an older building but i believe that is a part of its charm. they decorated the place so sweetly for the holidays. this place feels like a staple in the neighborhood and will be a place i keep coming back to.
i also do photography and my clients wanted to take photos in a diner, having a milkshake and such. being that i’d been there before, i thought id try asked them (the folx at this location) if they would be willing to let us use a booth in the back of the diner, they were very patient and kind with the idea and welcomed us in. they were also so patient and kind in allowing us space to set our things, take up a bit more space than usual to get the right shots, we were so thankful and the beautiful atmosphere they had created added an even more cheery and homey feel to our photos. thank you to the good folks that work here for your good food, patience and kindness!

Comfort zone is wonderful, Love the atmosphere. I love it. Gus is a great person and bartender great job, Gus. Jackie as a person with great kindness and respect to me is something I so value. The worst service I’ve had in 20 years. The manager was very kind to acknowledge me, and take my drink order. From there my waiter, a very young man, ignored me without making eye contact very meticulously, as I watched to wait for him to acknowledge me at all. I waited 10 minutes before he finally said “are you ordering or anything?” I said yes, and gave him my order, he never checked on me, my food, my drink, or offered me service of any kind again. He meticulously avoided eye contact with me and stood with his back to me any time he came near. My food sat in the window while he and several other staff ignored it until the manager noticed me looking around. It was cold by then. He made eye contact and looked to see if I was ok, I shook my head no. He walked up to me and I asked if he’d hand me my food while 3 servers stood next to it. This man single-handedly runs this place. The waiter never acknowledged me again throughout my meal, so I asked him if I’d done something to upset him and he said something about other people taking his food. I apologized if I’d upset him, and said “you haven’t checked on me, asked if I need anything, or look at me. I thought I’d upset you” to which he said something about “not rushing people”. It’s one thing to be very busy, which he wasn’t, the place was practically empty, and not be able to give customers the service you’d like to give; it’s another to actively avoid doing your job because you want to go home. I wasn’t rude, demanding, loud, confrontational, or even picky. I just wanted to eat after a very long week and not be actively ignored by my server during service because he didn’t want to be sat. I couldn’t even get his attention long enough to get my check or a box, and sat there waiting again for another 10 minutes until I asked a different server for help, since mine was actively still avoiding me with his back to me. I told the cashier it was the worst service I’ve ever seen, and that he needs a different job, and she told me “I don’t get to pick and choose my coworkers”. Lovely. Who trains these people that they act like this and still have a job? I’ll never be back, my company will never come to this location, and I’ll never send anyone here. Someone please rescue the poor manager from what must be service industry hell, with the most incompetent FOH staff I’ve seen in 6 countries, 25 states, and 100 cities, in over 20 years.

We ask for Erica bec she is a fantastic server! Knows our order, every little detail, brings our coffee as we are sitting down, asks what we need and she is so nice! Honestly, I think this is what customers are looking for when they eat out; not just food for the body, but food for the soul. And she is it. They all treat us like family so we brought them all a huge tin of Christmas cookies bec they don’t close on Christmas.
The burgers are really good, great coffee, you should retail your your Ranch dressing, the fries are the best ever, it’s warm and cozy inside and everyone is friendly. My elderly mom just now asked, where are we going for dinner tonight? Sorry, gotta go!! ☕️ ☕️ be right there, Erica!

First We come in and already they are looking at us and making us look crazy, then we get seated and we ask for water and they got some drinks, (The Waters didnt come until the end of us eating). The waiter was acting like she couldn’t operate, but i think shes stressed, by the way the pancakes were so thick and i could wash it down because we didn’t have water, the people/atmosphere was not it, the people were staring like we were a crocodile in a sea of pigs. Anyways the food came out and they got the order wrong, not saying that they didn’t say what they had in there hand which made it that we didnt know what the order was. I SHOULD I WENT TO I-HOP, But on the bright side the waiter was nice, but confused
