The Rangoons were stale and chewy, completely cold.
The Musubi meat was stale and also somehow chewy.
The Chicken Katsu was so old I could barely cut it. Tried to eat it and cut the roof of my mouth.. like plastic.
The rice was waay over cooked and basically pudding.
It looks like they took food from 3 hours ago that was quickly reheated and reserved.
It was appalling that they would serve stale, old food and live with themselves.
I’m noticing a trend with a lot of these restaurants where customer satisfaction is non existent. Won’t be returning here and will be recommending other locations over this one!
**Update 5 mins later**
I decided to still eat my food regardless of my unhappiness. I DEF WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THEM!! Some of my shrimp were not properly deshelled I discovered as I bit and began chewing into one of the shrimps. #photo3
Upon my arrival, four employees situated to my right were engaged in paperwork and appeared to be quite occupied, yet this did not hinder them from extending a warm greeting upon my entry: “Aloha, Welcome to Ono.” Upon my departure, they courteously wished me, “Have a great day.” Such gestures profoundly affected me, especially considering I had experienced a difficult day and was in need of reassurance. It’s the little things like this that just keep me going. I truly appreciate you Ono Employees. Every one of you is a Blessing.
Excellent Customer Service.
Savory Food.
Lovely Place.
But today was very different! I got to meet a wonderful lady named Alex. She was phenomenal! She smiled she locked eyes with me she was bubbly and very personable. Took time out of her day to offer me sauce. Gave me a little bag for my containers of Katsu sauce so they wouldn’t leak all over she was wonderful!
Because of her I will come here even more often just looking forward to seeing her and her wonderful customer service!
Alex you’re great keep it up.
Management needs to make sure their people that are packaging the ordered triple check beforehand. Lastly how are you going to get upset with me on the phone when I am just asking to make it right, insinuating I am lying that they forgot something. Moral of the story make sure you dig through your meals before you leave to make sure they can get it right.
Pa change your oil, for $13 a plate my fish should not look like this
I still don’t think that there should be seven or eight employees behind the register area as it’s a small area and only three in the cook area. If that’s the case, I think that the employee should be bringing the food to the customers even if it’s good to go and or Diane . If the names can be called, that would help alleviate a lot of confusion within the store. Other than that, the food is great they take their time with making your order and making sure that it’s correct.
