Left Bank truly delivered. Ever since my recent trip to France, I’ve been craving great French food, and this hit the spot. The escargot was rich and buttery, and the onion soup was deeply flavorful and perfectly comforting. Everything tasted classic and well executed. Dulce, our waitress, was wonderful and made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to.

The Left Bank Larkspur is on it again with excellent food, great service and the wonderful holiday festive ambiance of its heyday. It is still the right place to eat when one feels like eating a meal in Paris but with good service, a relaxing and lively atmosphere. The cheese fondue is as delicious as ever, and still just never quite enough to share without wanting a little bit more. I had a delicious bouillabaisse with a tasty saffron fennel broth choc full of fresh fish (Although it doesn’t need tomatoes and potatoes in it). We shared a creamy, light luscious crème brûlé with a crisp top.The waiters and bus staff were all wonderful.

Late Sunday brunch, we sat inside. Fondue was heavenly, Paella special was generous and delicious. Eggs, Bacon, Salmon, all very good. Desert and coffee good. The service was efficient, friendly and unhurried. A memorable birthday party once again.

Great cocktails, okay food (except for the cheese and olives; can’t go wrong there). Service is top rated, atmosphere is pretty good, just a bit pretensions. Good spot all around; can satisfy a lot of needs in your party. **And to speak of excellent customer service, they replied to this post. Will definitely patron again; great spot for your Gal Pals to catch up!

Amazing dinner for my friend’s birthday. Truly above and beyond service! The bar made us non alcoholic spritzers. The food was so good-the fondue so yummy! We loved the onion soup, quail special was delicious especially the mashed potatoes with green beans and sauce. My friends loved the prosciutto and melon salad. The tartare was delicious. Can’t wait to go back. Try to ask for the booths.

Was driving through Marin and ended up eating lunch here. We dined outside – given we had two dogs with us. The outdoor patio is very dog friendly. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The inside looks like a classic French brasserie. The food was all solid.

I’d definitely return – especially to get the Lyonnaise salad, which isn’t an easy dish to find in the Bay Area…

I recently wrote a somewhat negative review of Left Bank due to food quality, prices and service. The manager called me to apologize and asked me to try them again. Three of us returned yesterday and were delighted with our meal and the service. The prices are high but it’s Larkspur and Marin County so that is not a surprise. We were allowed to linger for more than two hours and the waitress and staff were extremely patient with our requests. We will be back.

We had the catch of the say (halibut) and Dungeness crab salad, with two refreshers. Everything was delightful and elegant. Definitely a good spot for a relaxed lunch!

Had a great dinner this Saturday at West Bank. We started with the liver mousse as an appetizer and it was excellent. We ordered the salmon and the halibut and both were delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Well done. A highly recommended French restaurant in Larkspur.

One of Marin’s finest establishments. The nicest people work here. The staff that waits tables have been here for years and know the menu cold. I had the tuna niçoise salad. Medallions of seared ahi with capers and white anchovy on a perfect bed of lettuce and a light creamy dressing. Absolutely satisfying.
