TWILIGHT ZONE!!! I haven’t been to this location in years and WOW, has it fallen on hard times! We had a pickup time of 3:45pm which we arrived for at 3:40. We were told they were “ finishing it up” and it would be just a minute. We sat for 30 minutes before having to approach staff about some sort of update. Half the food had been sitting there getting ice cold. 40 minutes into it we saw them just throwing our chicken into the fryer. The staff seemed very miserable. I am totally understanding of people having a rough day, burned out, etc. but this was extreme doom and gloom in there. We waited 45 minutes for our food which was all cold and soggy other than the chicken. Every customer there was having extreme waits and order mishaps. No sense in ordering in advance, this place is a disaster. No employee seemed to care of address the issue. If I could rate this negative stars I would. STAY AWAY, spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Placed an online order and had a set pick up time. Arrived at that time. Sat there and waited. I had to ask about my order after about 15 minutes of sitting. I know things go wrong, crap happens and ppl make mistakes. I can understand waiting a few extra minutes. I had to finally say I had to go when we hit 30 minutes past my pick up time. Even then there was no rush.I am a server. I understand being exhausted but still there was no urgency. She really didn’t seem to care really.
Sn:Woman in front of me walked in, ordered at the counter, waited about 10-15 for a slab. Threw a fit, lied and said she’d been waiting a hf hr. Not only did she get her food she got a credit for a free meal. While I sat there quietly waiting until I couldn’t wait anymore. First and last time here. What’s the point of ordering ahead if im gonna wait twice as long anyways?

March 1 2026 placed an online at10:30 a.m. for 3:45. When I arrived was told it would be a few minutes. Waited 40 minutes while several other customers were served. Heard employee say part of my order was given to someone else. When asking an employee what the wait was she said a pilot light went out. Poor service and will never return!!

As convenient as this location is, the was my last time coming here. Everytime I order online, I still have to wait when I get there. Today I placed an order at 3:40 for a 4:15 pickup, and my food wasn’t ready until 4:35… that’s absurd. And it’s everytime, not just a one-off. My mushrooms were sitting in the counter for over 15 minutes while I waited, so I can only imagine how cold they’re going to be when I get home

Very disappointed this time with our food. When I spend $40 on dinner (slab dinner w/broasted potatoes & slaw) and tip $5.70 on top of that, I would think that the quality would be there. My ribs were burnt on one end so I couldn’t chew through it. I didn’t get the extra sauce that was requested, the broasted potatoes were just little pieces that were all crunchy and hard to eat and the cole slaw was soupy. I’ve never seen the slaw like that. It was actually gross to look at – it tasted fine, but needed a soup spoon. I’ve been coming here for a long time and it is always hit and miss on the food. It’s expensive enough without getting food you can’t eat. Why can’t people make food the way they would want it served to them. While the staff is very nice, I will no longer tip in advance, I will check the food before I leave and if it is not right, they can make it again or give me a refund. Do Better Chicken Shack.

Exceeding expectations by far. The phones were crazy but one young lady in particular had it handled with ease. She was kind, fast and you could tell her work ethic is bomb. I never grabbed a name but she had a blond ponytail and worked phones at about 7:30 on (9/26) all in all, I will be back and she needs more credit and appreciation. The cooks were awesome and danced with me. Hoping the owner passes this along.

I dont want to say specifics but I had concerns about one Employee’s hygiene, if you know you know. Other than that, the food slapped and the fried mushrooms were really good and fresh, good portions too. Service was pretty quick despite them seeming fairly busy.

Haven’t had this in awhile. Normally, it’s always great. The roasted shack potatoes weren’t as cooked as they normally are. The onion rings were kind of greasy.
Chicken was great. My husband loved his ribs. But his dinner roll was totally smashed flat when they closed the box.
Otherwise, good dinner.

I was a little nervous to order from here, because of some of the negative reviews. I ate at chicken shack a very long time ago at a different location, I give places a chance, so… I ordered online a 15 piece chicken tenders, a tray of potatoes, and a large coleslaw.
Potatoes: 5/5 perfectly cooked and great flavor.
Chicken tenders: 3/5 they were seasoned good but a little dry, (I remember their regular bone in chicken was better)
coleslaw 0/5. The coleslaw is usually good from what I remember however, it was so sugary! It tasted like someone accidentally added extra sugar, like they forgot they already added it. it’s ok mistakes happen. I will come back on another day and order the bucket of chicken instead: )

Everything was good except the chicken needed to be cooked a tad bit longer and so did the potatoes the potatoes needed quite a bit longer. I guess you always have to ask for everything extra broasted or extra crispy I suppose. You can tell by looking at the potatoes they’re not done enough. Always ask for extra butter also their butter is amazing to see that giant tub on the counter is pretty incredible. The wait here can be long, their is a sign that says expect a 15 to 20 minute wait and we were hittin 23 minutes, was about to go ask how much longer and it was ready thankfully. Was really hungry, the spicy chicken sandwich for $5 is somethin else definitely give it a try. Not sure if the price is unlimited time thing or not I think it’s new.
