We went a busy weekend. The service was quick as everything was made fresh. The people were friendly ans helpful. We found d a table quickly. We had to ask for our food to be To-go after we had decided to sit there and eat since some plans changed. They were very accommodating. We didn’t get to eat until about 20 minutes later. Food was good. Would have been better if we weren’t rushed. Not their fault. Want to go back and relax. Want to try more stuff on their menu.

stopped here for a quick breakfast before hiking the blue mountain. it was nothing extraordinary. Americano, crepe and scones were all just mid. it’s a self serve.

Someone referred to the Peekskill coffeehouse as Peekskill’s living room and that is a perfect description for it. Cozy in the fall and winter, a great place to chill in the summer. The baristas are always friendly and serve excellent coffee. If you live in the Peekskill area you’ve definitely been here, and if you’re new to town I’m jealous you get to experience this place for the first time.

Do not go here, horrible experience! The food and coffee is solid but the workers there are cruel and depressed. I spent $25 on 2 coffees and a sandwich and asked the cashier for $0.25 cents for parking since I didn’t have any coins. He looked at me like I was an alien and said “why the hell would I give you free money”. Horrible interaction and the store should be ashamed. It’s called customer satisfaction. If someone spends $25 you can do the decency of giving them 1% of the money so they can pay for parking and not get a ticket. Disgusting people, horrible establishment, never going back!

Stopped by here late Sunday afternoon with my fella. We loved the super friendly vibe (Randy’s the best!), the awesome playlist, and the AMAZING coffee. Thank you to the lovely barista who actually MADE my “extra hot” latte extra hot. It was perfect and I really enjoyed it. We are visiting from out of town for a week and will be back!

Went here with friends. The service (particularly one employee) was abysmal. The food was good, but the portions and availability were a problem.

First, I asked the guy at the counter if the sandwiches come with chips/fries because $12 for a tiny panini seemed excessive. He acted like I was crazy for asking that and said no.

Then, he informed us that there was only one panini option left (there were 6-8 choices on the board). It was noon on a Friday. How do they not have the ingredients to keep their menu up during lunch hour? So, none of the options I wanted were available and I had to choose something I didn’t even really want. The sandwich tasted good but was TINY and not filling, especially when it cost $12.

THEN, I said “yes sir” to this guy when he asked me a question, and he had the audacity to start lecturing me about how, as a black man, he takes offense to the term sir because it means “Slave I Remain,” and goes on and on about some absolute BS history of the term. (A quick Google search when I got to my table debunked this very quickly.) This was probably the rudest person I met on my trip to New York, and that includes NYC. How dare you lecture someone for being POLITE?!

The cafe was also very loud and they literally shouted people’s names across the dining area to come get their food/drinks.

This single visit to a coffee shop reminded me exactly why I moved away from the Northeast in the first place.

I had just finished a 2-day backpacking adventure along the Appalachian Trail and boy, this was the perfect place to visit after a very strenuous 15.5-mile hike. Located in the heart of Peekskill, this cafe had a huge inviting space with lots of atmosphere and homey decor. The place had a great vibe as soon as I entered with many customers enjoying both food and drink. The coffee was bold and full of flavor. When I ordered a pacing, the worker first warned me that it could be a 30-minute wait for that, so I ordered an Italia Crepe instead. It came with sundried tomato, pesto, and mozzarella and was delicious. The food menu consisted of several panini options, and savory and sweet crepes. There was a large coffee, espresso, tea, and smoothie menu. I liked the fact that if you place an order of $15 or more, they give you a quarter to win a prize from their special gumball machine at the checkout counter. Instead of a gumball, you receive a plastic ball with a mystery prize in it. Prizes can range from store discounts, free coffee, or various products such as hats and shirts with the Peekskill Coffee logo on them. I won a free cup of coffee, yeah baby! The cafe is so expansive that it wraps around to two sides at the corner of the street. There’s a door that invites customers to come check out other indoor mom & pop shops. I love it when a business openly supports nearby businesses. This is good for everyone and the owners of this cafe get it. I live in South Brooklyn, so this cafe is quite far from me. However, if I ever visit Peekskill again, you can be sure that I’ll come pay a visit to Peekskill Coffee.

We had gingerbread chai, matcha latte, early bird crepe, and Emilia crepe. Everything was delicious and priced well. The staff were friendly and the cafe was cute. I only didn’t like that it was difficult to visit as a group.
