Old fashioned diner. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly waitress, good food. One little negative: the waitress dropped half a toast order off one of the plates on the way to the table. She did not acknowledge this. She picked it up on her way back, but never replaced it.

I’ve been past this place many times over the years. My son wanted to go to a 50’s style diner, so this is the first place I thought of. Really good food, service was excellent, and the atmosphere fun and comfortable. It is a great all-around place to eat. Don’t forget to take a walk around the property to explore, in essence, taking a walk back in time!!

Such a surprise. Went for lunch and really enjoyed the meal. Great portions and very fresh. The ambience inside there makes you feel like a kid again. I 100% recommend you try this restaurant with your kids or grandkids will love it. It’s like you’re in a different time, or a kid again yourself.

The Emerald Diner in Hubbard Ohio is one of those restaurants you really enjoy visiting. The history behind the dining is pretty cool & interesting. When you enter, you definitely feel the 1950’s vibe.
The menu is a complete omage to the 50’s, the names for the burgers, sandwiches & entrees are awesome. Speaking of awesome, the food is outta this world. I always enjoy dining here. My meal is always great, hot & fresh with amazing taste. The staff treats you like family, very friendly & polite. Also the the parking lot are is a few vintage train, box car & fire truck, very cool to see and visit. I absolutely love this place, I know you will to. Stop by and check it out.

I’ve stopped in a couple of time for breakfast/lunch, and I’ve never left disappointed. Great, simple diner food with quick service at a good price. Well worth stopping in for, for the diner vibe alone.

Amazing food and service. My husband had Salisbury Steak and he LOVED it. I had a grilled chicken salad and that was also delish. This place also used to be a train station so it’s pretty neat to see all the train stuff around the diner. Definitely try this place out.

Stopped by after a soccer tournament. We are from Pittsburgh, PA. Had the best experience from the food to the staff. Everything was delicious. Our waitress Brandi was the best! Would definitely recommend!!

Tues lunch. First time at Rhonda’s. Located in an interesting bit of urban development centered on an old RR Depot. The faux Diner facade fit in. Another of the decor was faux 50’s. The lines in the parking lot were green in homage to the Emerald theme.
The Diner was half full with only 1 waitress so everything was painfully slow. They were out of turkey so the club sandwiches were “incomplete”. Our choice to stick with the order. All the food was served hot.
We enjoyed lunch, wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
UPDATE 10/28. We did go back with friends and had a totally different experience. At 4pm they were already sold out of the Friday Special. We chose the Chef Salad and Philly Cheesesteak. Both proved to be poor selections. The salad was a bowl of iceberg lettuce with some rolled up ham slices. No veggies, no tomato, no cheese, no croutons. The cheesesteak was underwhelming. Very little steal and not much cheese. A few mushroom slices and onion. Granted, the meal was cheap but we got what we paid for.
