This was our first time at CPK and the pizza was so good that we ordered extras. The server made continuous rounds to make sure we didn’t need anything. This is a great location to just walk around after a meal with ample parking as well.

I had a great experience at California Pizza Kitchen! While they’re known for their pizzas, I decided to try something different and ordered the Chicken Piccata—and I’m so glad I did. The dish was beautifully prepared, with tender, juicy chicken, a bright and tangy lemon-caper sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion was just right.
The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The staff made sure everything was just right, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Whether you’re in the mood for pizza, pasta, or something fresh and flavorful, CPK is always a solid choice.
I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu. Highly recommend for a casual yet quality dining experience!

Love the chopped Chinese chicken salad, friendly staff. Disabled parking section, restrooms, full bar and other good variety of food dishes. When we returned for a re visit the table looked like it was clean but had dirty appitizer dishes, with place settings. Service slow waited again around 25 min to receive our food, waiter was nice. Went back today and again service was very slow, waiting for our food about 30. Food ok could’ve been better. Once again dirty appetizer dishes. It’s time for me to change my rate 4 to a 3 star.

I left a review 5 years ago, and i put a screenshot about that and i think that dining out should be a seamless and enjoyable experience. Starting a meal with appetizers creates pleasant anticipation for the main course. However, missing utensils can certainly disrupt that flow. Welcome bread is always appreciated, but we didn’t receive it until we asked for it after the appetizers.
We ordered our entrees, and it took around 45 minutes to receive them, and they were very cold, so I could not say if the food was good or not. Consistent quality is important to customers.

I don’t know what they did, maybe they changed management, but CPK is back in the Marina the way it should be–perfect.
We have ordered there so many times now I have lost count and each and every time our order is perfect and the service is great. We have not eaten inside much, but when we do the service is friendly and fast and the food great.
We have been doing CPK take away at least 10 times in the past few months. It is that good. We call it in or just walk in. The manager there is so great. If there is the slightest problem, they are on it right away. They tell us when to pick up and it is hot and ready the minute we get there. All of their take away is as good as eating there, and that is not usually my experience with a lot of other take aways.
We love all of their pizza and now have been through the entire menu of pizza. We have not tried the cauliflower dough and never will, just not our thing. The five cheese is so great and the shrimp pizza and Thai pizza are some of our favorites.
We also love their bread and they give you plenty if you ask, I do and I get extra and it is so good. It is always fresh.
Their pastas are also very good. We especially love all of their salads. Try their chopped or Italian or Caesar. Just wow.
This is now our favorite CPK and we are so open to be able to go local again. So go there.

Three stars for the food, zero stars for Lesli. She was too busy in her friend’s drama to pay attention to me. I went to go pick up my online order at the same time that her coworker was being reprimanded by her manager (‘acting like I was stealing’, as she later explained). So, that was my first mistake. Then I have the audacity to ask if the purchase counts towards the fundraiser for the slain PCH officer because there was a flyer on the counter. No answer. She was paying attention to the discussion going on next to her which is when I started paying attention because that was way jucier than my boring pick-up order. Then she asks if I want utensils, the answer was yes and it seemed to be acknowledged but there was nothing in the bag when I got back to work. Then she asks if we want our receipt. The answer is no but two seconds later, there’s Lesli holding out a receipt looking annoyed at the fact that I’ve begun to walk away. So I hope Lesli and her manager read this. Sorry I couldn’t bring up my concerns then and there but I think you guys had enough going on and let’s face it, my thoughts are much more eloquent typed out. And this is a picture of my delicious California something pizza w/o bacon. It wisely comes in two parts.

This was our second visit to this restaurant and I have to say unfortunately it wasn’t as great as the first. Food wise it is just ok in regards to pizza. I got the Hawaiian and it literally was on par with a pizza my kids make when we have a family pizza night. Now that’s not bad, obviously the pizza tastes fresh and was cooked properly. But for the price I’d expect to be blown away with flavor and cheese and plenty of toppings. But my reaction was this is a fresh ok tasting pizza, but not amazing. Also, my wife asked for no cilantro on her order and they botched that. The chef took the cilantro off and then squirted extra sauce on top to cover up the taste, which didn’t work by the way. The mishap made her pizza also look like one that my kids make on pizza night. Service was pretty good, lemonade was also great. But overall I can only give 3 stars for the subpar pizza. Personally I would have rather had a pineapple/pepperoni pizza from Domino’s.
