What a wonderful experience! This was an amazing find. We were visiting from Kansas City and escaped the 111° heat index at the Iowa State Fair and retreated to a cool lounge table with comfy chairs. They brought out my dirty Hendricks martini in a chilled glass, and it was heaven. The interior is all cozy and dark wood, and we devoured our shrimp cocktail and were awed by the enormous salad bar with over 60 ingredients. Our prime ribs were cooked exactly as we requested (rare), and we had such a good time that we stayed for a bit and had the chocolate peanut butter dessert. Can’t wait to return!

being from out of town, we tried something a little more local instead of chain steakhouses with three buddies. This atmosphere is ideal for steakhouses! Cocktails were great, waitress was more than generous, and pricing was below what I expected. Dear yourself a favor. The only reason that she didn’t get four stars on the review for service… Was because that buddy had ordered something different than she remembered. Not that big of a deal, they read it extremely fast.

If you’re a fan of prime rib then this is the spot for you. Their prime rib is excellent every time and comes with choice of side – I recommend the baked potato. The salad bar here is excellent and is worth the visit alone. It’s easy to fill up on and so worth it! Plenty of options and kept clean and restocked. The vibes and ambiance in here are great as well.

If you’re a steak lover, this place is a must. juicy, tender, and full of flavor. But what really surprised me was the salad bar. It’s not just an afterthought—it’s fresh, well-stocked, and offers a great variety of toppings, dressings, and unique sides. From crisp greens to pasta salads and everything was super fresh and delicious.

Love the vibe, like a fine-dining version of an old Irish pub. Had the crusted Parmesan mahi-mahi, very good serving. It was a little dry for my preference, but delicious to the last crumb. Had a bite of a steak and it was delicious too. Garlic potatoes were sublime! Drink menu offers great cocktails made with care and creativity. It seems like a very popular place and they have limited hours, but do not take reservations so not a bad idea to get there early! Loan was our server- she was delightful and attentive! Salad bar was great too!

My wife and I ate here for date night. It was great, service excellent, salad bar , best I’ve been to in our area. I ordered the blackened Ribeye , a little heavy on the seasoning for my taste but still a great steak, cooked properly. Next time ill go for the non blackened. Wife had the shrimp platter, everything was delicious. Only area for improvement would be the bread. A little dry, and bland. Overall great experience, we will be back.

Went to John & Nick’s for my 24th birthday! I lovvved the ambiance. The lighting was perfect.

• loaf of bread was so soft
Our food was so delicious. Cooked just to our liking. My stomach was so full and happy. I would come back for another date night. 🙂

Alona was our waitress and she did a fantastic job!!! Our food was fantastic! Super big, clean and lovely salad bar, our meals were so good! He has the salmon and I wish I would have taken a picture of it. It was so beautiful and he said it was wonderful! The only thing I would change; lower the volume on the intercom system that pages people for their table. Way too loud for such a high class restaurant! We will definitely be back!!

I’m not that into steak to order one here. I usually get the pork chops or chicken. They’re fine. Salad bar is meh. If you like a salad bar, you might like it better but I’d rather be served my side salad than go make my own, especially when seated on the bar side. I do like the atmosphere with the dark paneling but I definitely prefer the dining room to the lounge/bar, especially at the tables. It’s like stepping back in time, but on the bar/ lounge side with the TVs it feels more like any other sports bar & grill.
