My only reason for the 4 star food was the onions on my burger were supposed to be caramelized, but they were more steamed? Also the bun wasn’t toasted. The Patty itself was B.O.M.B- I wish I had taken pics. The portions were huge and the price was good. Overall, I’d recommend this place for a casual drink or meal.
Don’t know if waitress was new and never served before or what. She came to the table one time for initial order. We were out of drinks , never offered if I wanted another beer didn’t offer a glass of water. She was not walking around the floor either she stayed in the back as I could clearly see the kitchen entrance and exit. Never saw her again until the check.
Wasn’t presented with the bill listing our charges, she only was read off what we ordered (and actually we found out ended up leaving something off that we were charged for ) and presented with a handheld terminal that defaulted to 22% tip. You can take the hand held from her and put in your own tip, which is what I did then when we get a printed receipt, see that we were charged for something extra that should’ve been included with the meal. Didn’t even bother to bring up.
When it came time to clear our plates, she stood there while we gathered everything for her, not even trying to help.
Honestly, the service ruined the meal and we will choose somewhere else next time.
Previous review:
Bar food, but good food for the price. Very reasonable drink prices. They have drink specials every day. Bigger wine list as well. Parking can be a bit difficult on busy nights.
Very clean inside and staff was excellent.
Their spinach and artichoke dip is a little too creamy for my taste. The pita and chips were good quality. Their chili is a little on the spicy side, but still hearty and good. I wound up taking the salad to go.
The onion rings are fantastic, though! Definitely must get if you’re here.
Getting the check processed took a loooong time. The wait times are why I took a star off, otherwise I would’ve rated it four.
Getting takeout was no problem at all. I think to prevent the wait time in the future, we may get takeout instead. The Chacha bowl was really good!
When we went back for a third time, the wait wasn’t too long. Their Buffalo dip is fairly good, just very greasy. The Santa Fe salad was impressive!
Our fourth time here was terrible service-wise. No one seated us, and it took a solid 20-30 minutes before a waitress even noticed us. The wait for food was a while as well. I don’t think I’d like to dine in again after this experience. Also, the Buffalo shrimp is quite dreadful— they tasted like the shells were still on them and they were really tiny.
A lot of time passed between visits. This time it took close to 40 minutes for them to notice us and bring drinks. Food came out lukewarm, and that coleslaw in the tacos is dreadful. The mahi mahi and the fruit they put on it is good, but the rest of the taco was inedible.
Atmosphere was okay, but the live music was too loud and of varying quality. Not a fan and will probably avoid coming back.
