This is an incredible Nicaraguan restaurant that easily competes with the best of the best. The have a dynamic menu where every day of the week there’s a different special and they’re all incredible! 100% recommended.

I have nothing but great memories at La fogata. But when I went to the Flagler location the other day and realized they no longer had my favorite fried pargo fish. I was heart broken. This was one of the best places to get a whole fried fish so delicious. Definitely miss it. Hopefully comes soon.

Carlos is the kind of server who makes you want to come back. He isn’t just good at his job—he’s good at people. If you see him working, ask for his section. You’ll leave happier than you walked in. Food it’s great.

Guys the food taste is good. Unfortunately, we had 3 groups of of people leave before our food was served 5 before we could finish our dinner. The salad was as hot as the steak and tostones were so fried they almost cracked a tooth. When finally we were done the waiter asked us we wanted the additional take food and we mentioned that it would take too long, the waiter said that there were too many people. Waiter with an attitude… not good after all the wait. Worst of all, we mentioned that the waiter needed more trianing to the lady holding the door for us to leave and she said nothing. Terrible customer service from all. Not even an apology or a “ excuse us” . I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to eat.

The food here was delicious, I have been here 3-4 times and it always has good options. Last time I had a Churrasco which was perfect. Good prices! Service could be better as my waiter was not that prepare. Will totally go back and bring people with me.

Pd. Picture of a Picanha they serve.

I’ve been a loyal customer at La Fogata, ordering at least once a week either online or in person. Their food definitely has flavor, and that’s what keeps me coming back—but there’s inconsistency in the quality.

My go-to orders are the carne asada and chicken chimichurri. I usually leave tips even on takeout, and the staff is always polite. Recently, I asked if the chicken could be kept juicy and not dry. The gentleman at the front kindly relayed my request to the kitchen, but unfortunately, the chicken still came out burned and very dry.

Another issue that made me stop dining in is the closing hours. If you arrive about 45 minutes before they close (9:30 p.m.), you get the feeling that everything is rushed. It makes the experience stressful, and my husband especially doesn’t enjoy it. That’s why I switched to ordering takeout.

I’m sharing this because I really like La Fogata, and I hope they can improve these areas. A bit more consistency in the kitchen and a more welcoming dine-in experience close to closing time would make a big difference.

Service could’ve been faster we ate our appetizer before our main course came out..
Me and a buddy flew to Miami on a random day just for fun couldn’t think of a spot to eat at. This restaurant popped up so we went. I ordered chicken quesadillas and let me tell you it blew my taste buds. I also had grilled pork lion with fries that also blew me away the way the meat was tender juicy just melts right in your mouth. My friend ordered BBQ Ribs (with rice & fries) which was mediocre we’ve had better but it was decent the meat was chewy & didn’t taste right barely gave him enough of BBQ, they also ran out of ribs because I ordered some as well but had to do a substitution and order something else.. He then had 3x chicken tacos that were good, I will definitely be hitting this spot up again when I’m in Miami again..
