Atmosphere is really chaotic and is a tad crowded and loud I couldn’t hold a conversation very different in my opinion
I was honestly expecting more maybe my expectations was too high but EVERYTHING was over cooked and tasted old and gritty WITH EVERY BITE like it wasn’t cleaned it was very off putting
Crab legs are tiny tiny and extremely difficult to peel that was the theme for the night shrimp was hard to peel light on flavor and was like eating sand and dirt
I’ve had better shrimp at Chinese buffet to be honest
Royal red wasn’t bad but they come in frozen they shouldn’t be better than local
Service was good but you dont go for service you go for the food
I dont think I will be returning to be honest
There was maybe 3 crab dishes whole boiled and crab cake
And about 20 shrimp dishes
Oysters was only served raw
Gumbo was honestly the worst I’ve ever had
Sorry but just being honest I would save your money and cook at home

I’ve been going to this place for over 20 years. For $35 A person, it needs to be fresh. I thought I had a strategy to come 5pm Thursday night being the food should be fresh and not from the night before. boy was I wrong. In my opinion, the food was from last week. I don’t know why they did it, but they removed the soft serve ice cream. In my opinion, it feels like they are about to close the doors. Fried shrimp And boiled crawfish were good. Everything else on that bar was garbage. literally.
I work all across the country and have countless times bragged on the house to seafood being a seafood lovers. paradise.That is no longer true. This place has an outstanding seafood buffet with all of your faves and then some. The kicker is that all of this great food is only $28.00 for BUFFET!! It’s an hour drive from the French Quarter but well worth the trip. Service is outstanding and with a laid back atmosphere. We will be back the time we are in New Orleans

This is the BEST seafood restaurant & seafood buffet I’ve ever eaten at. Everything was HOT and FRESH. The waitress was friendly and polite. Every time I went to get more food, when I returned my used plate was already removed. I’d definitely recommend this establishment and will be a returning customer. Even with a almost 2hr drive just to get there.

Had a very good experience at The House Of Seafood. The food was prepared very well. They have just about any seafood that is served here in the Louisiana. Some of it is cooked several way, depending on your liking. It was seasoned well. Nothing was over or under cooked. We went early and it wasn’t crowded. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs.

I loved the selection of seafood. I got to try many new (to me) things and enjoyed the selection. It had a lovely family atmosphere and as a “Grandma” I loved watching the various children enjoying seafood. I might have enjoyed seafood more as a child if I had experienced a place like this.

The service and atmosphere at The Seafood House is top tier! Our server Kristen was one of the best servers I’ve ever had!! She was attentive, quick, and extremely kind! My kids loved her too. But honestly all of the servers around our area checked in with us and made sure we were all set. The food stayed filled, saw multiple team members filling things and a gentlemen walking around calling orders to the back for the buffet. When I asked about buying a tshirt another waitress came up and took my number so they could text me when it came in. Loved how personable the entire experience was! Just like being home.
